"Staying in a Casa Maya was the highlight of our stay in Playa Remanso. These containers assembly are located within walking distance to the
beach
and local
restaurants
. Excellent is you want to surf or just enjoy the day at the
beach
. After 12pm, it gets really hot inside the containers specially during a humid day. Luckily, around sunset it cools down and you can sleep comfortably with powerful fans. The caretakers, James and Faith were great. Their personal touch and care for the property...

"The property has a very nice view of the bay, which makes it worth the stay. The pool and patio area is really nice, clean and enjoyable. It's a short walk from the center of the town but the last part is uphill. The only issue we had is that the room (pool view) we had is right next to the kitchen and there were a lot of ants, and the garbage is next to the room door. The cabin rooms seemed much better options."
