"Great menu great location portable road to get there no shampoo in the cabin which would have been nice and way too dark when you arrive at night for the first time but overall a great experience especially if you want to do zip lines or some caving"

"Amazing place, great people. Would stay again and again. The people at the camp were some of the kindest and most welcoming people I've met in Belize."

"We had a great stay at the West House overall. Good location if you want to be able to walk around San Ignacio (probably the nicest hotel in that area). The reason for the mixed review is that we had something “go missing” from our room during our stay. It wasn’t something that we would ever bring out of the room with us and the worst part is that it was inside one of our bags when we left the room, meaning someone either went through the bag and took it or it fell out during the room cleaning and then was taken. The front desk staff (who are also bartending) were awesome. Very helpful with recommendations, helped us coordinate taxis, made incredible drinks. We asked them if the item had been turned in and they said no and that the house cleaning staff said they didn’t take it. It wasn’t particularly valuable so it’s a mystery to us as to how it ended up “missing” but other than this we did really enjoy our stay. "
"Very nice property with great staff. The amenities are a bit expensive and remember that many cabins do not have air conditioning. This can be uncomfortable during the hot months. "
"Our family stayed at Mystic village last week. We had two units next to each other. The staff was amazing and the overall resort exceeded our expectations. Loved the bar and restaurant which was overlooking the river. We had several day trips and the resort coordinated for us. Pool area was nice after a long day of touring. "
"The staff at Falling Leaves is 2nd to none. Paula at the front desk called my tour company to have them pick me up from the hotel both days even though the tour company did not have that as an option. The pool is spectacular in a jungle setting. Genesis in the restaurant offers fantastic service. Meals are simple but delicious. The rooms are very simple and the bathroom small with a pedestal sink. The door goes right to the outside so do know that some creepy crawlies can occasionally make it in. The place is on top of a steep hill right next to the Mayan ruins in town and a 30 min walk from the center of town. I do highly recommend this place."
"It was a very good hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms were very clean. air-conditioning worked very good. No problem parking all the people were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It would be nice if they had a little bar on the roof of the hotel have a cold beer or drink of some kind after you got back from one of your adventures in the city, but there’s lots of places very close to get something to eat or drink

"We didnt spend much time in the room other than to sleep.
Don't stay in room 24!! Every night there was a full choir singing very loudly until 9pm at night
The one night they were singing nursery rhymes, for no reason. The room was right next door and felt like they were inside our space!
The up side was the air conditioning was great. We stayed in a Junior suite, so it had a 5 gallon water bottle which we appreciated.
There was a kettle, so I brought oatmeal with me for a quick breakfast.
No towels in the room when we got there, but housekeeping was lovely and provided
The pool is great. We were in it around 230pm each day until sun was gone from it around 530pm
Bartender was not friendly at all. That part was a bummer
All other staff was very nice. Right across the street from a big, well lit grocery store as well which was handy. We walked to Guava limb for dinner one night as it was around the corner (delicious!)
King bed was comfy. 2 small twin beds were pretty hard."
"The AC was excellent, and so was the water pressure. A small, cozy room with a comfortable bed at a very reasonable price. The staff members are super kind and available for help. Moreover, you can't ask for a better location. This hotel is in the heart of San Ignacio. "
