It was built after the original property was constructed, and unfortunately it requires a set of stairs to be accessed (we think its worth it for what it offers) We hope you found the unit to be clean and comfy and you got a chance to take in the gorgeous views from the wrap around deck. We have prioritized updating the guest rooms before the rest of the property. The pandemic has been a big hurdle in our goal of modernizing the property. SF climate usually always stays on the cooler side, temperatures that range from Fahrenheit 50 to Fahrenheit 68, thus the reason the property does not have A/C in the rooms. Of course the building does have heat, and plenty of fans for air circulation. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the location and got some good bites in the area, a big must for a vacation.
