The cabin, which that’s what it was. It’s not a hotel or anything like that. Mose was a great host and he was very helpful when we needed him. Our stay was perfect, this is a good place to stay if you want a native experience in El Salvador. There is no hot water, which was perfectly fine. There are no mirrors anywhere so getting dressed was a tad hard. We had a neighboring guest that stay at the other cabin and he made our experience more then amazing!!! All in all this is a beautiful place to stay if you don’t mind not having hotel amenities.

The only room on the property, owner was extremely kind and helpful with suggestions of things to do in the area. if you are a dog lover - plenty of puppy love to go around.

Stunning Location

The restaurant and cabin are in a stunning location overlooking Lago Ilopango and Volcano San Salvador, and the owner is very kind and accommodating! The food and service were also great. My only regret is that I didn't stay more than one night!

The "cabin" I stayed in was clean and comfy. They ran out of shampoo, so that amenity was not provided. On the other hand, water was not listed as an amenity but they happily gave me a "garrafón" for just me. I do not recommend the property for anyone with physical limitations. There are narrow, winding stairs to the bedroom and the beds sit on the floor, not on a frame. This place is best for a restful, "contemplative" stay. A car is necessary if you want to go places. The most enjoyable aspects were the views which are fantastic and the staff could not have been more accommodating and service-oriented. Don't pass up the opportunity to talk with Moises, the owner. He is a fountain of knowledge about El Salvador: its history, culture, and people.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying here for my birthday trip, and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment I arrived, Mr. Moises (the owner) and his wonderful staff welcomed me with such warmth that I instantly felt like part of their family. The property itself is breathtaking — the views alone are worth the trip, and if you enjoy glamping, this is the perfect place for you. Mr. Moises, who is also a talented chef, prepared different breakfast options each morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. He also took the time to personally give us a tour of his property, showing us the beautiful fruit and coffee grown right there. His knowledge and passion for El Salvador were incredible, and we left with such a deeper appreciation for the country. Throughout my entire stay, I felt completely safe and cared for. And as a dog lover, I was delighted by the adorable, friendly pups who greeted me each day — they made the experience even more special. This was my very first visit to this beautiful country, and my only regret is not being able to stay longer. I truly left a piece of my heart here and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Moises and Evelyn, for your hospitality and for going above and beyond to make my stay so memorable. Sending love from the USA — see you again soon!

Loved!! this cute hotel the weather was windy perfect it gave us a feeling of being in the forest with a beautiful view of a lake. I did not get to try their pizza for which they are known for I will definitely be back to try it on another occasion.
