Nice hotel. Valet was pricey $55. Bar closed at midnight, which after a concert was a bit disappointing. Very clean. Nice linen. Walkable location to Gaslamp District.

The property was beautiful! There is nothing negative that I could say about it. The guys that valet were great, housekeeping was awesome and so friendly. The property was very clean throughout including the exterior. I would also like to point out that Erica that checked us in was so helpful and friendly and even remembered my name. She was helpful before we even arrived as well when I messaged the hotel with a question about our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel room was nice as was the hotel. Lots of restaurants close by and inside the hotel. Air conditioning was subpar. There were a lot of sketchy characters hanging around outside but that was no fault of rhe hotel. My biggest gripe was the $25 "resort fee". The price of the hotel was high enoouhj without tossing in a bogus fee for a hotel that is in no way a resort. That's just a means to artificially increasing the price. Pretty shady.

I love the tickets for coffee and drinks and free waters. No hotels do that anymore. Loved that. Lots of homeless in the Gaslamp district. Really sad.

On the positive, location is great. Short trip from airport and all the sightseeing sites downtown. Was told hotel recently renovated upon check-in, room begs to differ. I have stayed here before, but will not book here again. Toilet has loud jet propulsion flush. Walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors showering and/or using the facilities. Air conditioning flimsy. Housekeeping removed shower gel from wall unit and did not replace until few days later. Did not replenish tea, coffee or paper cups during our week long stay. Shower has awkward space which allows water to flow out into the bathroom ( a cubby for the bathmat). All I seek is a basic hotel, this barely satisfied that. The resort fee too was a surprise, claimed to be out of their control. Not recommended.
