Beautiful luxurious former condo of NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback and Former condo for US Senator from California!

Absolutely Amazing Three bedroom and Two bath private gated beach condo with breathtaking views of Mission Beach Channel and Ocean Beach located at the southern-most tip of mission beach. This beautiful vacation home has the largest patio in all of Mission Beach that has convenient access to San Diego’s famous Mission Beach boardwalk that is a biker/runner/walker paradise. Only steps away are the longest flattest sandy beach in the State of California, this home is perfectly located with plenty beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, and even an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after a long day at the beach. Fun activities, such as volleyball, basketball, surfing, boogie boarding, are located directly outside the door on the beach.

The large open family style kitchen connects to the family room that also has views of breathtaking sunsets. The spacious family room entails wrap around sliding glass doors to fully appreciate the ocean breeze. Amazing indoor/outdoor living with a beautiful private patio that can accommodate large parties. The master bedroom is gorgeous with a walkout balcony to view the beautiful sunsets and a jacuzzi bathtub to relax and enjoy spectacular ocean views as well. This condo is really the most comfortable spot to spend your beach vacation. Parking is sometimes an issue at the beach but not here! Two private gated parking spots with plenty of public on-street parking are readily available.

You can’t miss Belmont Amusement Park, located in the heart of Mission Beach. Besides the iconic roller coaster, there are many other rides and games perfect for a day of fun. You can also find various different restaurants and bars for everyone to enjoy.

You can easily rent fun ways of getting around like bikes and scooters. Or if you’re into getting into the water, you’re in luck! You can take the family for a whale watching tour, deep sea fishing trip or some sailing. Not only do you have access to the beach, but the beautiful Mission Bay also only steps to the east. The little ones can play safely in the calm bay waters. Whether you’re at the bay or beach you can rent paddleboards, kayaks, and many other items for a fun day out in the sun.

If you’re interested in exploring San Diego a little more in depth, you can check out San Diego’s downtown where the Gaslamp quarter which thrives tons of nightlife. Exciting baseball games played at San Diego’s Padres Petco Park is located in the heart of downtown San Diego. There is some of the most amazing Mexican food, entertainment, and shopping located in Old Town San Diego. Fashion Valley Mall is right down the road for a shopping trip to go beyond all of your wild shopping imaginations as it includes over 100 of the top fashion stores. You can check out Sea Port Village for a fun lunch and take a tour of the USS Midway ship all situated 15-20 min away from the condo. We are lucky to be almost next door to Sea World and it’s a must see with its new rides and its location is within 2 min of the home.

We live in San Diego and wanted to stay at Mission Beach for a few days. This VRBO was perfect! We visited with our three kids (8, 5 and 3). The unit was clean, comfortable and safe for the kids. It's in a great location near the beach and walkable to Belmont Park. We really enjoyed the views from the balconies. The owner was very responsive and quick to answer all questions. We would love to visit again!

Location! Location! Location!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this condo. First of all it was extremely clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I did very little cooking, but the kitchen was well equipped for everything you would need and the appliances were very nice. Communication with Bradley, the owner, was superior and I appreciated he checked in with me before our arrival to make sure we had all the appropriate information regarding the condo. The location was excellent! The condo is about 5 minutes away from Sea World and 15 minutes from the San Diego Zoo. Everywhere we went it was a short drive. It is also a short walk to the beach and we utilized the beach chairs from the condo, however there are all kinds of beach toys available. Keep an eye on mission bay as we saw dolphins on more than one occasion. Next time we are in San Diego we will definitely stay here.

Wonderful SD Getaway

Spectacular views of the SD coast from the home, quick walk to the Mission Beach area, nice and clean with many amenities - including beach equipment. Great Getaway!
This property is in an ideal location near the beach and Mission Bay Inlet. The kitchen, dining and living areas are spacious and comfortable. The view from the deck is fabulous. Bring your binoculars to observe all types of watercraft, dolphins and seals. The owner responded quickly to any questions and minor issues.

Update Advertised Amenities & Clean Dryer Vent Please
Location was perfect. Condo was beautiful. Some information listed in amenities was not accurate. Shampoo was advertised, but there was no shampoo. Bar soap was provided but the soap was expired. This wouldn't normally be an issue since I do typically travel with toiletries, but we stopped in San Diego for a couple of days after being on a 2-week cruise so I was limited in the amount of luggage I traveled with. Another issue was that the dryer did not dry clothes. We walked into a condo where all the towels were damp. I had to dry the towels in the dryer for over 2 hours in order to have semi-dry towels to use for the entire family. The last thing I want to do on vacation is spend time to dry towels vs relax and enjoy the time.

Great view and location!
This property was as good, if not better, than the listing describes it. We were traveling with our three children 4 years and under. It was perfect for a family (no childproofing needed and the view was very entertaining for the kids), but also very much nice enough that it would be perfect for a couple or group of adults wanting to get away. The view was amazing. You can watch the boats go by from the comfort of the couch and also see across the channel to the dog beach. The condo has multiple outdoor balconies including one that is very large with a full outdoor dining table and plenty of room to move around (all with water views of course). The neighborhood itself is great for taking walks with so many unique houses and architecture to look at. The beach is just around the corner (maybe 5 minutes max to walk to). It's right in front of a huge lifeguard stand which was comforting with small children. It had powdery soft sand all throughout, with no rocks to worry about stepping on. If you leave the condo and head the opposite direction and walk a couple minutes through the neighborhood there is an additional beach along the channel that has no waves and less wind which some people might prefer. It was great to have options! The beds were extremely comfortable and the condo had everything we could need (the primary shower was wonderful!). We truly could not have asked for anything more and hope to come back next year.

Our family of 4 adults enjoyed the great view from the patio and the beds were comfortable Our sunset walks down Ocean View were a treat. We did not rent a car and were able to Uber everywhere that we wanted to go. We ordered groceries several times through a delivery service. Patio doors and blinds could have definitely used an update but other than that the place was very nice.

My friends and I were celebrating my 35th birthday and wanted to be close to the beach to play volleyball and be close enough to Uber to bars for the night life. This was perfect for that. The multiple patio areas were so great to relax at and watch the sunset! Patio area was very large and all 6 of us could hang out together there. I loved the open living room and open kitchen/bar area. It made it nice for a large group to socialize and have lots of space. Rooms were very nice and clean. Master bedroom is SUPER spacious. We never used the big jet tub, but its there! Host provides little soaps, toothpastes, and conditioners in each bathroom just in case. There were a lot of "extras" the host has available (hair dryer, paper towels, SD guide, beach stuff, etc). We didnt need all of them, but if you had kids or didnt bring it on your own, then the host had you covered. The couch pulls out to a bed, we didnt need the extra bed so not sure how comfy it is, but if you had a full house, thats an extra area if needed. The condo doesnt look like much from the outside, but the inside was perfect for our group to celebrate together and have a good time in San Diego. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect place to stay in Mission Beach
Our family of 4 stayed here for Soring Break and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place. Perfect location at the end of south Mission Beach. We had the sliders open at night to listen to the waves while we slept. Condo was extremely clean and Brad was super helpful with questions. I give it a 10/10. So glad we ended up here!
