The best accommodation option in the heart of downtown San Diego, my grandson and I loved it, because everything is close with free parking and access to all places without problems. Everything is very clear in the description and they do refund the deposit. Excellent.

The location is great but a little noisy. On my last day I noticed a tiny roach moving fast across the room from under the bed to the trash can. I do not mind the small roach, but it can freak people.

Decent place for two nights but very close to the airport hence the noise. Staff were very nice and considerate. Quite a few homeless people making racket at night. Not sure I would consider it safe for a solo woman traveler but my husband was with me.

This was a decent place to stay as a single, male traveler. It was quite noisy both on the street and within the hotel. My hotel room was clean enough but I'm low maintenance. Staying at a cheap hotel in San Diego means that some of your neighbors may be dealing with homelessness, drug use challenges, stress that can make them unfriendly, which is why I wouldn't stay here if I was traveling with kids. Otherwise, lots of nice places to walk to close to the hotel.

Heavy traffic surrounding facility. Very noisy all night long. On-site parking very limited. Had to find offsite parking 3 of the days of our stay. Do not recommend to visitors.

The location location my wife and I were able to walk to our bay cruise and some shopping and to the many restaurants within walking distance the hotel is also close to a freeway the hotel itself was just ok parking is an issue it is fruit there are not many parking spots on site and if you happen to get there a little early before checking in to park you will have to back out into the one way street

PROS: 2 blocks from Little Italy and about 5 from the Harbor and 1/2 block from 5fwy. Cons: I saw 2 cockroaches in the bathroom, the room was very cold, no blanketa provided. The heater made a huge racket everytime it csme on. The bed was extra hard. And you could hear loud traffic below &planes go by.

The homeless are camping out next to the parking lot and had to call the receptionist to stop them from breaking into peoples car. Recommendation: don’t leave anything valuable in your car.

Bugs and no frills. But bugs says it all.
Picked the wrong hotel for I was confused so don’t blame them for that. But no washcloths or towels. No cable. Window wouldn’t completely shut. And there were ROACHES. Luckily , only a few in the bathroom and I chased them back into the wall but the hotel went from disappointment to a disaster. Staff was nice at desk, it’s only savior. It was during a medical conference so price was higher than usual. Once I saw the regular price, u knew I picked a bad spot. I almost left on day 3 for can’t deal with bugs, but I stuck with it. Do not recommend unless they fix their roach problem.

Infested with cockroaches
My room had dried piss all over the toilet seat, not a drop but 50% piss coverage. The shower and bathroom had hair all over it. The sink was not clean and had dried toothpaste all over the facet. Within thirty seconds I found 3 cockroaches running around. My colleague on a different floor also found numerous cockroaches. They switched me to a different room that was “better”. It wasn’t infested but common surfaces were not clean, hair still in the bathroom. I understand it’s a budget hotel but basic cleaning has to be done, also you can’t have an active bug problem.
