It was an ok stay. The staff was friendly but the hotel and rooms need look old. I’ve stayed in many hotels in this area and this one definitely needs a remodel.

The food was mediocre at best, and service in the restaurant was TERRIBLE, like waiting an hour for a drink terrible! Also we ordered room service one night and left the dishes outside our room, where they stayed for 2 days! Housekeeping came and went and did not collect the dirty dishes!

Location is great. Hotel is very dated, looks like they keep trying but it really needs a makeover. Parking is terrible. Not only do they charge to park, but I had someone double park in between my car and a Mercedes in the handicapped parking who somehow thought it was a space, they property would do nothing about it.

Out dated. Four people were placed into a ADA room with a closet that was useless and 1 sink. We had to switch rooms after the second night due to our neighbors smoking marijuana. We reported it, but nothing happened.

This is a very well maintained old hotel, with very friendly staff and excellent location. The food available on the bar is very good. Flat bread and artichoke dip are recommended.

Our safe didnt work. Had to change rooms. Dropped something on the floor, looked under the bed. It was disgusting. There was food and even prescription pills under there.

We had many issues with our room. Air conditioning didnt work. Had to call the front desl multiple times. When they came to "fix" it they turned on heater which never turned off and it was a sauna in our room. The tv didnt work when we arrived. The microwave was not plugged in.

I liked the courtyard setup with outdoor hallways. I loved the spa. The camp I attended and the rooms we spent time in were excellent. The HVAC was a bit clunky and dated but overall we were very comfortable and enjoyed the hotel.

My room was dirty i took pictures very dusty and bathroom had old vomit or blood on bottom of toilet. I called for more towels and a cleaning no one showed up. I called again and they only bought towels up. My view was of another building and there was an old sweater hanging on the tree in front of my balcony. Very unsatisfied

We stayed for two nights for a conference on site. The first night there was absolutely no heat in our room. We reached out for help but did not sleep the entire first night because we were freezing. Also, my iPad was stolen on site.

Staff was great. Breakfast was great too. It was nice to have on-site parking. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. That said, the walls were really thin and there were lots of kids enjoying themselves in the rooms around us (like kids should), so it was not the quiet destination property my husband and I were expecting. The staff was great to help us process a reimbursement for the last two nights and we moved up the coast.

Check-in was extremely slow - took forever. The clerk blamed it on the rain claiming their systems don't work well when the weather is bad. San Diego weather was colder than usual that weekend, getting to your rooms you have to walk outside. We booked two rooms, and heat didn't work in one of the rooms. The maintenance person did fix our heat, but had to work on over an hour - not exactly what I would call privacy or provide me the time to get some rest as intended. While there were fixing our heat, we heard many calls over his radio with other guests requesting heat service and extra blankets. The following night, the fire alarm went off - not once but 4 times starting at 4:30 am through 8am. If you want a good night sleep, I can't say you would be guaranteed that at this hotel since it didn't work out for us.

Nothing !!! Our first night the fire alarm went off 5 times from 10:30 to 4:00 in the morning. Our rooms weren’t cleaned before 3:00 pm and only after complaining to the front desk more the three times to make it happen. We ran out of toilet paper and had to call the desk to have more sent up because maid service never bother to leave an extra roll in the room once they finally straightened out not clean our room.They only had one of their two main elevator working. The mattresses were so soft that when my wife got on the bed we both sank to the middle.Their main restaurant was never open and all food service had to come through their Sushi bar. The cafe with coffee and pastries was never open so if you needed any sundries you were just out of luck. I would have left after the first night except it was booked and already paid through Expedia but I would never stay again.

This hotel is very old and it’s not same as the picture you see from the website.the heater doesn’t working and there is a suddenly fire alarm in the morning,four times!!!!! This hotel is terrible

Decor was very outdated, room reserved was not available...one person slept on a cot, and another on a couch....provide what was reserved or else that is false advertising. Raccoons trolling the property...unacceptable...but some traps.

This was a great convenience hotel to stay at, the staff was great people to deal with. The only thing I didn’t like is the fire alarms continued to go off about every three to four hours, the one night. All in all it’s a great place to stay at.

Would not stay again.
Definitely does not deserve the high rating it’s received. The rooms are dark and dingy. There is a terrible smell that overpowers you as soon as you open the door. All the doors slam, it’s so loud. The bed is TERRIBLE! We both woke up in so much pain. No outlets in the bathroom. Definitely not worth the price - or maybe we just got one of the crummy rooms in the hotel!

My stay at this property was the worst hotel stat I’ve experienced. No response when calling front desk for assistance, loud noise in walkways and room above, no security, fire alarms being triggered all through the night...just a horrible stay! I requested full refund for 2 night stay!
