I made a credit card payment as demanded, and recieved only a credit card receipt but no hotel receipt stating the purpose of the charge. Later on, after multiple inquires about the double payments, the hotel conceded that their receptionist had made a mistake and the payment "was cancelled". After more than 10 days, the payment is still on my credit card account and further inquiries from me received no response from the hotel."
