About this property

Tenuta 5 - Apartment with swimming pool

  • Beautiful farming estate comprising 6 restored units situated on the Chianti hills, a short distance from the village of Mercatale (with general stores) and 22 km from Florence away. This property offers large outdoor areas and a nice panoramic pool with splendid views over the surrounding vineyards (producing excellent wines). All of the apartments provide welcoming interiors furnished in a rustic style. The units Tenuta 1 and 2 are approx. 50 from the pool away while the remaining units are closer. By the pool, guests can enjoy use of a beautiful panoramic terrace with sun-umbrellas and sofas and of a covered area with WI-FI in internet connection (WI-FI internet is also available near the reception, closer the units Tenuta 1 and 2).
    The access to the property is via an unpaved road suitable to any car.
    Distances: Mercatale with general stores 4 km away, San Casciano 10 km, Greve in Chianti 12 km away, Florence (airport and railway station) 22 km away, San Gimignano 37 km, Siena 60 km away, Arezzo 90 km, Pisa (airport) 92 km away, Lucca 95 km away.
    At guests’ disposal: large outdoor areas, garden, shared swimming-pool (12 x 6 m – min. depth 1,25 m – max. depth 1,4 m – open from 01/05 to 30/10) with panoramic views, barbecue, playground for children with swing. The property was clean and well presented. Anna is an amazing host and went beyond to help out when we had a problem with our hire car. The pool was beautiful with stunning views and very clean. We had an amazing 2 week relaxing holiday with lots of culture as Florence, Siena and Lucca are just some of the places we visited. We will return !!

Eiendommen og leilighet nr 5 passet vår familie på 5 personer utmerket. Tenuta Branca ligger i hjertet av Chianti, i fin avstand til byer og vingårder vi ønsket å besøke. Her er det stille og fredelig. Man kan velge mellom å bestille frokost, eller tilbrede mat i eget godt utstyrte kjøkken. Vertskapet Anna og Stefano får alene fem stjerner fra oss. Vi sjekket inn sent en søndag kveld da alle butikker var stengt. Anna stilte med råvarer slik at vi kunne lage kveldsmat. I løpet av uken fikk vi også en minnerik omvisning i vinkjelleren til Stefano, samt en helaften med deilig italiensk mat og vin. Vi anbefaler Tenuta Branca varmt , og ser frem til å komme tilbake hit.
