"Grand hotel experience"

"After an initial disaster at a "centrally" located hotel around Lake Como, this Hotel was a godsend. Wonderfully comfortable bed, cool A/C (heatwave at the time - our other hotel had NO A/C) and modern bathroom with powerful shower. Rooms were quiet despite hotel being quite full, and blackout blinds meant a great night sleep. We even managed to have a swim in the pool. The hotel is in a suburban setting with not much around so you will definitely need a car. There is a restaurant serving lunch and dinner (although we only had breakfast which was very good - if you enjoy Italian style sugar and caffeine breakfast). Cakes, coffee and pastries. Town of Varese is 10 minute drive and worth a short stop with interesting sights and eating options. The hotel was perfect for our 1 night stopover."

"The Regina Palace is a hotel from bygone days of classic architecture with huge imposing rooms with lots of style. The service from the staff in all areas was exceptional, friendly and professional. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"We loved our stay here! Everything was well kept and clean. The views from the rooftop bar were amazing. Likewise, the drinks and service! The staff went above and beyond to provide recommendations and helped my fiancé with arranging flowers/wine for his proposal. We couldn't of picked a better place to stay! "

"This hotel was fantastic! The staff were super helpful and friendly, and they even made sure our furry friend was welcome. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it. The only downside was the parking fee, which was a bit steep, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker. Thanks 😊"

"Really enjoyed this hotel. Have a nice bar that you can also access from outside. Beautiful beach and pool area. It is about a 12 minute walk to the ferry. And sometimes it can be slightly noisy. My neighbor kept me up fighting with her boyfriend. Finally called down to the desk and they had it resolved in less than 5 minutes. My friends also got their laundry washed by hotel. So that was a great service. Lots of cruise liners (Viking) use that hotel. Again quite beautiful. "
