Amazing hotel , ideal location , adults only pool space was amazing , food was fabulous for breakfast , lunch & dinner . Would recommended to anyone. Only fault is the twin beds were slightly uncomfortable and had wheels on .

WOW .. .! this property is Excellent, it's a stylish, it's clean and fresh and the staff are wonderful. The location is perfect with easy access to the area either by foot or by transport. An oasis of calm

Such a lovely, serene, quiet hotel, right in the centre of town, not that you’d know it. Super close to the Yumbo and the beach. Great staff, fabulous breakfast, wonderful cocktails and our room had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were always happy to help with advice and suggestions. The room was comfortable and a great size. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant is well worth a visit.

Best hotel in Maspolomas

I stayed as part of a group of friends and the hotel couldn’t be better. The staff were friendly from my check in to check out. The pool area had ample beds, plenty of pool towels and beautiful tasteful decor all around. The rooms were large and with own kitchenette area was great for catering for breakfasts/mid afternoon snacks. There was a few supermarkets just two minutes walk from the hotel so even better. Would come back to Gran Canaria to just stay at this hotel!

Last minute holiday and so glad we picked GOLD. Perfect hotel with a nice vibe. Adults only so very chilled. We loved the long pool with the cabanas. Perfect sun trap for tanning and dipping in the shallow pool and when you wanted a bit of shade the cabanas provided just that. Breakfast was brilliant especially being available until 12. I am not usually one for breakfast but ate it everyday it was so good! The food outside of breakfast is also delicious. Loved the Pad Thai and Prawn Tacos. Conveniently close to the Yumbo and beach for dining and drinking options. Also close to bus stops for trips to other towns and beaches. Supermarket right next door with everything you need for you room or day trips. We stayed in a terrace room and was excellent being able to nip in and out from the pool and lounge around in the afternoon sun. Having never been to Gran Canaria I was really pleasantly surprised and will definitely book to stay again at this hotel. Many thanks to all the staff for a great stay!

Authentic Review: Stay between the 14th and 21st of June We stayed at this hotel during mid-June. Although the hotel classifies itself as four-star, I would personally rate it more as a three-star property. The staff were friendly. However, we requested a late checkout and were advised that we would need to pay €50 to stay longer. Breakfast was of good quality, with a decent selection. The hotel is extremely well located, especially for those wanting to enjoy the Benidorm experience—it’s within walking distance to the beach. I can only imagine that during peak season, the hotel would be very busy and it might be difficult to find available sunbeds. That said, it was refreshing during our stay to see no one reserving sunbeds with towels early in the morning. There was a good mix of age groups staying here. Fortunately, there was no loud music around the pool, allowing people to sunbathe and relax in peace. If you’re looking for a more upscale experience in the same general area, I would highly recommend checking out Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa, which is a genuine five-star hotel. It’s about a 7–10 minute taxi ride away (€10). As for our current hotel, Golden by Marina markets itself as a freestyle experience but it’s not a full four-star as advertised. The room had a basic electric stove, fridge-freezer, and cooking utensils, making it more suitable for self-catering.

Very nice hotel, well located, not far from the beach and some very good restaurant (such as 360 degrees, Lux22…) we loved the atmosphere around the différents pools,, all the sunbeds, very nice colours. Staff very helpful and welcoming. The even organize a meeting with the customers and the director on Mondays (with cava & olives, crisp, etc. The room was comfy and we did appreciate the balcony Breakfast with large range of food One regret, very small bathroom, toilets and opened to the room, Some paintings needs refreshing.

Excellent, relaxing stay

I had a really relaxing stay over four nights in Dec 2022. The reception staff were excellent both at check in and check out. Cleaning was thorough each day. The pool areas are lovely and the location excellent for the beach. The only small negative is being charged an extra 4 Euros per day for a room safe, which I've not experienced before. When you're paying 150 Euros per night for a "Gold" hotel it does feel like a budget hotel additional charge.
