Great service, clean rooms, will definitely return

From check-in to check-out, the staff were amazing. We did not come across any staff member that did not provide exceptional service - from the front desk, to the bars to the restaurants. Our room was very clean, and we were happy to see that all rooms have a balcony so no worries about missing out on that. More than enough sunbeds around the pool and surrounding areas for anyone who wanted them and we did not see any sunbed reserving at early hours. Definitely recommend trying the burger at the pool bar - it was amazing. We had seen other reviews recommend this and it did not disappoint.

Nice hotel in the middle of a refurbishment. Rooms and bar areas were very nice, but corridors felt dated and carpet didnt seem like the best choice. Food was ok, a bit tasteless at times and sometimes lacking variety. Drinks good, but the bar could have long queues at peak times. Mainly catering for Dutch / German guests

Double family stay

We stayed as 2 families of four, managed to get rooms next to each other and the check-in was pretty straight forward. The rooms were tidy and a good size with seperate sleeping areas (2 singles by the door and a double sofa bed by the balcony) The cleaning of the room tbrough the week was very basic, the beds would be made and the bin emptied but that was it, the sides and floor didnt seem to be touched. The towels were supppsed to be changed every 2 days but this only happened once in the week. The maids were friendly but paid no attention to 'do not disturb' signs. The pool area had a huge team going around in the morning to clean up the mess from the night before, in general it was a good job but some of the tables had obviously just been given a quick wipe and were still dirty. The pool itself was ok, not ideal for young kids as it gets deep really quickly but they had a small shallow pool and a very small splash park for the younger kids. The kids club was good, the outside has a large climbing frame with slides and indoors had a soft play area and plenty of activities, the animation team were very good and would put on a little dance before the announcements of the daily activities, which there were many. The food was hit and miss, breakfast was good. Lunch not so bad if you went to the pool bar or a la cart restaurant but dinner was not good, the majority of the same things and very limited options for children as even items that said plain were not.

Fabulous hotel, so many facilities with lots to do- they’ve made the most out of the space. Great atmosphere, the staff are fantastic - particularly reception staff, the entertainment team and the pool bar staff (to name a few!) Very family friendly, catering for all ages

I liked the location, very close to Yumbo and quite, Loved the swimming pool and the Spa. Loved my room with balcony. I did not like the animation (for old people) I did not like the food: terrible, salmon is terrible, ham is terrible.Coffe is disgusting , undrinkable, better buy nescafe from supermarket. I am lactose intolerant and they don't have milk without lactose like soya or anything else. But the worst is that you cannot have guest, not even for a second, not even downstairs to pick you up, like a prison, only wristband. I will never book again just for this.

SONNE TANKEN IN GRAN CANARIA

Das Hotel ist so lala. Obwohl es viel Essensauswahl gab war die Qualität des Essens unterdurchschnittlich. Ausser Neujahr und Silvesterabend hat sich das Hotel sehr Mühe gegeben und es gab doch das eine oder andere leckete Gericht. Wir haben uns eine Magen und Darmgrippe oder Foodpoisening zugezogen und waren sehr krank. Danach sind wir nur noch in öffentliche Restaurants ausserhalb des Resorts Abendessen gegangen. Das Hotel bietet sehr gute Unterhaltung für Aeltere oder Kinder an. Die Poolanlage is ok- jedoch muss mann sehr früh aufstehen um einen Liegestuhl zu reservieren sonst bekommt man gar keinen oder ein schattiges Plätzchen. Die Liegestuhlreservierung sollte vom Hotel abgeschaft werden.

Schönes 3 Sterne Familienhotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Alle waren immer sehr bemüht und die Tische wurden schnell abgeräumt und das Buffet frisch aufgefüllt. Sehr bequeme Betten und große Zimmer. Leider waren die Zimmer zum langen Flur hin sehr hellhörig, besonders bei lauten Nachbarn blöd. Unser Zimmer war direkt bei der Poolbar, somit war es abends gut laut. Zum Strand ist es schon etwas zu laufen (war uns aber vorher klar). Es wurde ein kostenloser Strandbus angeboten. Sehr großes Hotel, deshalb waren wir immer früher beim Essen um dem Andrang zu entgehen, aber auch später wurde gut nachgefüllt! Besonders gut fanden wir auch bei Halbpension die kostenlose Möglichkeiten Wasser an einem Zapfhahn zu holen. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen! Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke! Einen Parkplatz haben wir auch immer problemlos gefunden. Mal im Hotelbereich oder wenn wir später kamen auch auf der Straße.
