This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home has been furnished with ALL-NEW amenities with guest comfort in mind. Located on a quiet street, you are a short drive away from many eateries to choose from. Good location between fiesta Texas and Schlitterbahn water parks. Check in was simple and the kitchen had a blender, which was very convenient since my son purée baby food for their eight month little girl. coffee maker for the adults was a plus. Plenty of kitchen space

We were unable to stay at this property due to the condition of the home upon arrival.Issues were identified immediately, and the host and Vrbo were contacted right away. Because of these conditions, we had to find alternative accommodations that same day. This was not reported after the stay — it occurred at check-in.While unexpected problems can happen, the situation was not resolved and the experience created significant unnecessary stress during travel.I recommend future guests thoroughly confirm the current condition of the property prior to booking.

Bad just bad

The grass wasn't mowed knee-high. One of the beds was on the ground single mattress for a 65-year-old. Master bedroom bed was broken there's mold on the wall behind the dresser in the small middle bedroom.

Generally good place to stay

We stayed for Christmas and had a decent time. We had some issues with the dogs getting through doors. The back door doesn't stay closed unless the door is locked. Our dogs were able to open it pretty easily when it was not locked. They were also able to get the fence gate open one time as it doesn't latch. We were able to keep that closed for the most part as it was wedged in place.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I feel the owner should personally inspect the property before listing it for rent. I arrived on time and was surprised to find a woman still cleaning, who told me check-in was later , I messaged the owner and told him I arrived after the check time . He admitted there was a mistake and that the listing hadn’t been updated.One of the rooms had a strong moldy smell and was unusable. The backyard was messy and had no lighting, and I even found a roach in the sitting area. I left it where it was, hoping the cleaning staff would notice and alert the owner to call an exterminator.I had booked two nights, but unfortunately, I couldn’t stay more than one.

No hot water in San Antonio

As the title suggests that was unfortunately the main takeaway from our quick trip to see the Spurs play. At $280 a night you would hope it comes with hot water so your family can shower/bathe but unfortunately this one did not. I understand some things can occasionally go bad but the complete apathy and lack of a response from the owner spoke volumes. I’ve stayed at 25-50 properties and never had this kind of experience before. Additionally the place was located in a run down area of San Antonio and the property stuck out like a sore thumb as one that shouldn’t be used for a vacation rental. Neighbors could look directly into your house and all in all it felt uncomfortable. Here’s hoping the owner takes major house issues a little more seriously the next time they’re reported.
