Check every detail about the property before booking. Pictures are deceiving. House had a bad ant problem in every room.

We really enjoyed the house itself and its amenities. The location provided easy access to the areas of SA that we wanted. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy but we actually never saw anyone loitering in the area, which is unusual for SA. The accessibility was a minor nuisance. Barely able to park an SUV in the allotted space.

Even though this house is located right off the highway, it’s in a good location if you want to be near downtown. The house is spacious and fenced. Overall great value.

The stay was great. Don’t be alarmed with the gate around the house. The neighborhood is good we had no issues even when they had a birthday party at one of the houses across the street. It is safe with easy access to the freeway. Only take less than 5 mins to get to the riverwalk. The manager we met and was very friendly and accommodating.

We are a family of four visiting SAT for the eclipse and this location was great! Neighborhood was not upscale but modest working ppl. Last day my husband interacted with neighbor across the street, very friendly. House has been thoughtfully rehabbed, decorated, stocked with necessities and maintained. Very clean, smelled good. I would definitely rent again. Host was very polite and accomodating when we had a change of arrival plans.

We planned this trip to San Antonio for spring break coming from New Mexico. After tirelessly searching hotels and learning about parking fees hotels were charging, we found this house on VRBO. I booked the house being unfamiliar with San Antonio and hoped for the best. The reviews were a little nerve wrecking but it fell into our budget so we went with it. The house is located right off the 10frwy, but you can't even hear the commotion of the frwy and honestly it made everything accessible. We spent a day at the Riverwalk, a day at six flags and our last day headed to New Braunfels so the frwy access was perfect. Close to civilization which made grocery shopping easy and convenient. The neighborhood isn't the prettiest but we also weren't here to be neighborly lol so that wasn't an issue. The property has a security gate and thick wall all the way around. The house was clean, a little dusty, but coming from New Mexico you get used to breathing in dust. The ONLY issue I had was the parking. I drive an Acadia and it was a super tight squeeze getting into the gate and parking along the house. Vehicles bigger than mine, good luck. Other than that we felt safe and secure and had a lovely experience! Communication with the host was great! Quick responses and patience being that it was my first VRBO experience and I was unfamiliar with protocol. Overall great experience!!

Very nice house, attention to detail here makes it seem like it was someone’s custom built dream home. Interior was extremely clean, even under couches and beds and in empty closets there was no dust. There was a set of 4 mugs/plates/bowls, basic pots and pans and to go coffee cups. The fridge was well stocked with drinks including beers and canned cocktails. There was a new Keurig machine & lots of k-cups, coffee & chai, non-dairy creamer, sugar. There were auto air fresheners, which we don’t love the arterial fragrance of, so we stashed them away under the kitchen sink. There were no funky smells in the house that the air freshener was trying to cover. Again, the house was very clean. The bad, just beyond the front yard is a freeway off ramp. It is literally right on the freeway. There were not any homeless or sketchy characters hanging around at all that we saw during our two night stay. There’s not any retail immediately nearby so that probably helps. There is a gate and wall around the house so it does seem very secure. You can park your car inside the gate and it does lock. I wouldn’t let my kids play outside, but the interior of the house was very spacious so that wasn’t necessary. There was impressively very little freeway noise in the house & the bedrooms are on the far end of the house away from the freeway. There is another building on the property but it seemed vacant during our stay. Great value for what you get if you don’t mind the location.

I don't know where to start with this property. I guess the neighborhood since that's what you'll encounter 1st. It is a terrible neighborhood, run down houses, trash all over the place, crackheads...literally saw someone buy dope when we pulled in, not being from the area we had no idea this was that part of town. You are about 30 feet from the exit off of I-10, the road noise is SO loud. Headlights shining through the house all night. Inside the house will fool you, its a beautiful home, but NASTY. There are so many different smells in here, its a mix of different room perfumes & colognes to make you think its clean, all over the house are auto fragrance misters, glade plug ins, fragrance diffusers. No smells of cleaning agents though. There was leftover opened food & drink on the kitchen cabinet & in refrigerator. So much beer in the fridge, half used loaf of bread, open used PB&J. The kitchen also had food in the pots & pans that was dried on & smelled horrible. 3 USED dish sponges on the kitchen sink that were smelly. The bathrooms are stocked with USED bars of soap & USED loofahs. The shower drains are caked with mildew & soap scum. The sheets had no visible stains or smells so i guess they were fine, I hate to think otherwise. All of this is fully documented w/pics & was reported to host who offered to buy us lunch for our inconvenience instead of a refund or discount. If you need further info please feel free to reach out to me for pics.
