Lovely home surrounded on 2.0 acres of lush wildlife. The city of Helotes is filled with character, history, and hospitality. This property is less than 20 minutes away from both Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Sea World

This is a great home for the much needed relaxation after a long day in beautiful San Antonio. Enjoy the privacy and nature this home has to offer. You can relax by taking a dip in the private pool, napping in a hammock, or walking the trails that Helotes has to offer.

Our neighborhood is quiet and feels like you are in the country, yet, we are located close to the city of San Antonio.

Really neat neighborhood close to everything and the house was pretty neat. The pool was clean and ready for a swim. I would definitely stay here again.

Private and lovely home

This immaculate and nicely decorated home was a great place to stay for several days with our family.We enjoyed the spacious living and dining areas. The beds were comfy and the showers had very nice temperatures and pressure.Having several choices for outdoor seating was a real treat, as it afforded different views of the property.The swimming pool was sparkling clean. Sadly, thunderstorms kept us from fully enjoying it.I d heartily recommend this home!

nice place

really like the feel of seclusion. lots of trees. nice size pool. be careful though as a camera pointing at the pool, not sure if active. did not see grounds keeper and when i sent email to owner about damage to gate at pool ( no big deal for me) and a wasp nest in the lamp by door (concerning but had no problem) was informed grounds keeper would be there the following week. Overall our stay was great and close enough to San Antonio downtown.

Very nice home great location

Only there a couple of nights taking our grandson to sea world and the wildlife safari. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. Our only issue was the AC being turned off when we arrived. It was 95 degrees outside and 86 degrees inside. We ended up leaving for an early dinner while the house cooled off. Still a very pleasant stay.

Spring break 2024

It was a nice size, and everyone enjoyed their space. Everything was clean. I wish the pool was heated even though I knew it wasn't. It was like ice water in March, so we didn't get to enjoy a swim. The only other thing that would be nice is access to a washer and dryer. I liked how close it was to SeaWorld and Six Flags!

SO ENJOYABLE!!

We typically stay in hotels or condo resorts for vacation but checked out VRBO homes this year for a quick trip to San Antonio. All of the 5-star ratings for this home seemed unreal but I cannot say enough GREAT things about this property. The home was very roomy and we LOVED having a private pool. Minor issues were addressed immediately by the property manager. I left an outfit and hope to coordinate the return to me, via mail, with the property manager. This property is roomy, very clean, secluded but close to stores, gas, etc. and I can’t express enough how much my family enjoyed staying at this home.

We enjoyed the privacy of the pool very much. It was especially nice to use it because the weather was very hot at the end of May. Ernesto was very accommodating and made sure we had enough towels after I let him know we needed some more. There was some light cleaning that we did in the kitchen and dining room area before we felt comfortable enough to cook our meals. We bought cleaning supplies and left them there since we could not take them on the airplane home. There is a charcoal grill that we used to cook chicken and burgers on. We put aluminum foil down first. We like to leave rentals in better condition than we first check in. It was a nice home away from home. There was sticks, dirt and debris outside. We could tell the grounds had not been taken care of in a while. That could be due to the storms though. Ernesto did notify us a couple days before our arrival of a possible downed tree but it had been taken care of before we checked in. We did not see a groundskeeper or cleaning crew at all. They probably had the holiday weekend off. Which was fine, because we enjoyed the privacy. Thank you Ernesto for letting us stay at your home in Helores. We appreciate it very much!
