Quick girls trip to SA - the house was clean, modern and centrally located. We didn't use the kitchen but it was fully equipped. We used the hot tub each evening which was a nice touch to the trip. We will be back!

San Antonio Get Away

Had a great stay at this home. About a 20 minute walk to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Enjoyed using the hot tub both nights we were there. Would stay again. Shower tile in the bathroom needed some attention and water leaked out from under the glass panel, but nothing that towels couldn’t take care of.

Stunning, super clean and cozy home! The house met all our needs, great location, a short walk to local restaurants and all the sites including the Riverwalk, quick access to the highway…we enjoyed soaking in the hottub at the end of the day. We had excellent communication with the hosts. This place is a true gem! We hope to stay here when we visit San Antonio again!

UTSA Spring Break ‘99 Crew

Great place to reunite with friends of 20+ years. A dear friend lost his mother recently and we decided to get together to celebrate life and friendship. Everyone plus, my min pin, Tiny had a lovely time. Also, I knew we were right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown, but the location was so quiet and private. Will be staying here again when in SA.

Beautiful and clean apartment

I came into town with my family for a conference at the Convention Center. The location felt safe and we were able to walk or use electric bikes to get to most places. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Very comfy beds and plenty of linens. The kitchen is beautiful and the hot tub was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely property

From booking all the way through to check out was a smooth easy process. Communication was faultless (often with an instant reply to a question!) The property is well equipped with lovely touches and it was spotless. Location is tucked away in a neighborhood, with easy walking access to restaurants and all the sites - great to escape to at the end of the day. Lavaca guest house

Great location if you enjoy wandering around some of the well known and lesser known areas of San Antonio. You will be less than a mile to the riverwalk, the King William district and have walking access to the great bars and restaurants in Southtown. The guest house had plenty of room for two couples. Everything was updated and clean. Parking was easy. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on another visit.

Business Meeting at Henry Gonzalez Convention Center

Just returned home from our trip to San Antonio and this property exceeded our expectations in every way. The home itself was immaculate, the owner was responsive to our needs (we happen to meet them during our visit, and they made sure everything was in good order), and the location was perfect for my meetings at the Convention Center. A pleasant walk to meetings and the Riverwalk. Well Done!

Fantastic Property!!

First of all, the hosts are wonderful! They were more than accommodating when asking for recommendations around the area. They offered additional access (unfortunately we ran out of time to partake in that). They were very responsive which was so so helpful coming to a new city. The property itself was very cute and clean. More than enough space for 4 adults. It was close to everything. We opted for a car because it was a bit hot for our taste to walk, but you could definitely walk to just about everything. Overall, 10/10 would recommend and would stay here again! Thanks for having us!

Above and Beyond

Wow, where to start. Jerry’s place is immaculate. Every detail was thought of. The perfect respite from our busy days of exploring and sightseeing. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars and even took a quick drive to visit the Southtown neighborhood market which was lovely. We were also here during the eclipse, and Jerry’s family was kind enough to invite us to the rooftop on the neighboring property so we could watch the eclipse with them which was so sweet! The only thing we could think of to improve the stay would’ve been a couple of luggage racks to set our suitcases on, but that was no big deal. The design of the house was gorgeous and the beds were so comfortable. From the bedside lamps with built in chargers, to the stocked kitchen cabinets with cute dishes and coffee + tea, the comfy patio chairs, the spotless grounds and interior, we were blown away. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We will definitely be back.

We live locally but rented this location for a weekend staycation. It’s location is great for going out at night. The King William district is about a 5-10 min walk and if you want to Uber, they are available within 2 min. The Riverwalk is a longer walk. I would guess about 20 min but the area is safe. Parking was easy and safe. The house is immaculate and newly renovated. All appliances are new and function properly. The bedrooms are comfortable and quiet. The bathrooms are new and the water pressure is good. Communication with the owner was easy. They don’t appear to live on premises which is a plus. WiFi works well. Be prepared to log in to your favorite apps for TV watching because there’s not much “free” on the TV (which is typical). There’s an alarm which we requested to have turned off but they can provide a code if that’s what you want. Overall a really nice experience. This house was excellent and I would rent it again if given the opportunity. We paid the price of a high end Riverwalk hotel and for that, we got two beds, two baths and a very comfortable space…can’t beat that.
