We were so close to The Pearl and the Art Museum thst we walked to the farmers market Saturday morning. The house was perfect. I loved the historic house and neighborhood! All the surfaces and appliances were new fresh and working. The air-conditioning worked well and there was plenty of hot water in the large shower. There was even a nice little fenced yard for our mini dachshund that made it convenient for us. The beds were comfortable and the house had a nice ambience overall.

Sid was very prompt in responding to all inquiries and when we accidentally locked the wrong handle, oops! The interior is minimalist but exceptionally clean, the towels lush and linens of nice quality. Nice washer/dryer. Good basic kitchen. Though the amenities were as listed, as a frequent guest at VRBOs, a few other things would be helpful: iron, more towel racks & horizontal dressers or luggage racks to accommodate the max # of guests. It seems the exterior is still a work in progress though it did not affect our visit. Not really walkable to downtown sights but in a cute historic neighborhood.
