This near downtown San Antonio neighborhood is within walking distance to the Alamo Dome, Riverwalk, Alamo Plaza and Henry B Gonzales Convention center. Sitting atop a hill, guests are able to enjoy the breeze while taking in the unique view of the Tower of Americas. This area is booming with mixed development. Many historical homes are being renovated and some new homes are being built in the area. We are happy for the newer developments and welcome the influx of savvy investors grabbing a piece of downtown and making great changes. Our Free parking lot allows you the option to walk, uber or use electric bike or scooter to enjoy the Henry B Gonzales Convention Center, The Alamo Dome, River Walk, Sunset Station and many other attractions around the Alamo Plaza and Market Areas.

This property is so cute and clean! Esther and Jerry are very pleasant people. We were late checking in but Esther was very understanding and patient! Only 25 min away from SeaWorld and 1 mile from Riverwalk! Thank you so much we enjoyed our stay and will be definitely coming back again soon!

Not for a bad sleeper

This place was small, but cozy. The living room comfortably accommodates 3 adults, but more than that gets tight. With the heater clanging and the train horns blasting throughout the night, sleep was hard to come by. That said, Esther was very prompt in helping to get us what we needed. Bedding, towels, and kitchen supplies were more than adequate. The distance from downtown is great, though the neighborhood was a little less desirable. Parking spots were available and an Uber was only $8. Overall, this place really grew on us and we enjoyed our time!

Fun little Casita!

We were very close to the Riverwalk which is what we wanted. Esther was amazing and the grounds were beautiful! She was very accommodating and welcomed us with a cute little sign! We had a fun and comfortable stay! Thank you, Esther

Cute little villa of cottages

Our stay was great. We were promptly greeted and communication was great. The cottage was cute and clean. It was a bit hot to not have ac in the whole house (window ac was only in main living room) in the Texas summer, but mini fans were available to move the air around so it wasn’t too stuffy. Would stay again. Close walk to the convention center which is why we’re were in town.

Clean, bright, convenient and great value

Clean & bright: Esther has done a great job maintaining and decorating the villas. Loved the green/organic edible gardens & fruit trees. All of her (4?) villas were full with fellow K-State fans and a few other young couples. Convenient: Location is very close to downtown / zoo / Pearl Brewery / Trinity University. Great value: Our villa was perfect for this trip -- in-laws joined 20,000+ other K-State fans for the Alamobowl -- and stayed on one side of the villa, while we parents had another room with baby, and other 2 kids had their own bedroom. Laundry, full kitchen, and Wi-Fi were a plus -- first two helped us save money on meals. Only possible disadvantages were: - no sports channels (father-in-law was somewhat frustrated; but kids loved the kid-friendly Christian TV stations) - villas are only less than a mile from Alamodome & Riverwalk , but probably not ideal for walking safely at night -- not the best part of town, lots of stray dogs and questionable dealings on one corner Nonetheless, we'd stay with Esther again.
