"Location was close to downtown and met our needs. The house was clean and in good shape. Although, I think there were a few fire detectors missing. The dock was there and the detector was not. We didn't get to use the parking spot promised in the back due to concrete repair going on. But there was ample street parking. The fridge did not work when we arrived and the owner sent maintenance the next day to fix it. All in all, we had a great time."

"Hotel Gibbs will be my new go-to whenever I am visiting the San Antonio area. From the time of calling for directions (slightly hard to find due to the ongoing construction) to check-out everything was perfect! Although, I failed to get the amazing front desk professionals name, she was there when I checked in and guided me perfectly to the hotel, had my keys ready and is such an extraordinarily kind person - thank you! Hotel Gibbs is an old bank that was gorgeously renovated many, many years ago. It was so nice to hear a little of its backstory from her. Exceptional stay - very safe, quiet, peaceful with a very comfy bed & beautiful wood doors, wonderful breakfast and very kind valets. 10/10!!! Highly recommend and I will be back!! So, on your next staycation/vacation, make Hotel Gibbs your home away from home. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!"
