"Check-in was very quick and easy with no issues. We drove 6 hours for my husband’s graduation, so we were exhausted and looking forward to relaxing once we arrived. Unfortunately, our first room was unacceptable. There were dirty towels and pillowcases, the bathroom was dirty, the remotes had no batteries, the microwave was missing the plate, and there was even a towel covering the fire detector. We had also booked a non-smoking room, but the room and entire building smelled heavily of smoke. I immediately contacted the front desk, and they did move us to another room. Our original booking was for a king bed, but they asked if we would accept a double room instead. At that point we were tired and just wanted to shower and rest, so we agreed. The second room was in the non-smoking building and was slightly better, but still not great. The towels, pillowcases, and sheets still appeared dirty. The room had noticeable maintenance issues including gaps between the floorboards and walls, curtains that did not fully cover the windows allowing excessive light in, and gaps around the door where light came through. The inside card reader on the door was also broken. The room had a coffee maker, but it was dusty, old, and had no filters. There was also no iron or ironing board cover. To make matters worse, we found roaches in the room. Housekeeping during our stay was disappointing as well. The rooms did not appear to be swept properly and barely vacuumed. Trash was taken out and towels"

"The room was wonderful and I had the best night sleep. I usually can't sleep the best outside of my home but I was very surprised how well I slept. I believe it's the firmness of the mattress and the softness of the pillows. The breakfast was good as well. Staff was wonderful and very polite."

"Parking spots were very narrow. Beds were comfortable and the pool and hot tub were nice. The property itself is in overall poor condition. No noise barriers for rooms, elevators broke and my 82 year old Grandma was forced to use the stairs a few times before someone finally told us we could use the service elevator. Our bedroom phone did not work. Our tub was somewhat clean, there were no wash cloths, overnight front desk agent was very nice. Breakfast was hard to eat and service at the restaurant was painfully slow. The food in the restaurant was delicious. My bill was right under $200 and expedia charged me right under $270. "

"This hotel was clean and up to date. It was within walking distance of restaurants and stores. The area was safe. I would stay here again if I were to go to San Angelo again."

"The shower curtains in the rooms are moldy, showerheads are green, where the water comes out and all clogged up,ceilings right outside my door falling in, breakfast you make your own waffles and there was a couple bread for toast and some stale cereal and only decaf coffee, also they don't scrub their showers or bathtubs. This is a great place if you're like a construction worker and want something cheap not a family place."
