"Popped into Wallace to spend the night before biking the Hiawatha trail and found the newly remodeled Brooks. Classy decor and a comfortable king bed made our stay great. "
Quaint historic mining town nestled in the mountains between two ski resorts.
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean house, perfectly located for biking & the walk to downtown was approximately 4 houses. Yet it was still quiet & relaxing. Many excellent restaurants. Super helpful host. They have everything you could think of needing. If I went back, I'd stay a week."
"Very nice, cozy house! It was clean and the host, Jeff, checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything. We really enjoyed the hot tub and back yard. We rode our ATVs on Moon Pass to Avery and to Dominion Peak on the Continental divide. The only negative was the visitor center. The hours were only from 10 to 1. Our research had said we could get paper trails maps there. However, not much was available for that and the people working weren't very knowledgeable about the trails "
"Donna was a delight! The room was darling and immaculate. Windows open for summertime breeze, perfect temperature at night. Only downside, highway traffic noise at night."
"First, I have to say that we ended up not staying in this home. This house had an unexpected, last minute plumbing problem. (Nothing serious and is taken care of now.) The host contacted us, explained the situation and asked if she could upgrade us to a neighboring property that she rents out. We had no problem with this and were happy that she had a place for us to go. The house we stayed at is directly above this one, so our location didn't really change. The neighborhood is quiet and in walking distance to downtown Wallace. Judging by the accommodations we had, the owner takes excellent care of the property. The house we stayed in was impressively, well-stocked and clean. The owner quickly responded to questions and went out of her way to be sure our stay was a good one. Despite not staying in the smaller home, I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here!"
