Arrived at night to be told, we don’t have a room. Didn’t matter that I had a booking. No sympathy or apology. Had to find a hotel elsewhere with a taxi.
A month later, and there’s still been no refund or apology. Very poor behaviour "

"The location is the only downside for this hotel - it is away from the central city, on the road to Tbilisi. Quite a few locals were staying - maybe they were driving. I was caught in the rain: I turned up looking like a drowned rat and the fellow on reception couldn't have been kinder. He wanted to carry my backpack but it was easier for me to do so: he took me to my room, got the heater working, found a hairdryer and showed me where everything was.

"Giorgi was an incredible host. He was attentive and always available to answer questions. His fluent English made it easy for us to communicate. The room was amazingly clean with a mini fridge that included a freezer enabling me to keep my water ice cold. The attention to detail including providing toiletries, coffee, bathrobe, disposable slippers, bottled water etc made for a very comfortable stay. You can also use kitchen to make tea or coffee throughout the day. There is a terrace with amazing view where one can enjoy peace and quite at night. Bed was very comfortable for me. Hosts can organise a private car for sightseeing. I can highly recommend this hotel especially if you are interested to see local way of life "
