Samoens, Family ski trip

Great location for local shops and bars, bus stop not too far away but free to ski lifts and run regularly. Chalet has plenty of space not to be under each others feet. Great fire which makes lounge cosy.

Excellent stay

We had an excellent vacation in this large, comfortable chalet. The location is perfect, only a few minutes from the beautiful, lively village of Samoëns and close to ski slopes, yet very quiet. The chalet fit our extended family of 16 very comfortably: large living area, well equipped kitchen, bathrooms for every room, large outdoor terrace. The jacuzzi was nice as well.

Lovely chalet, fantastic location.

My family of 9 (including 2 granddaughters aged 4 and 5 ) spent a fantastic week at this beautiful Chalet. The location was perfect, near the ski slopes of both Samoens and Morillon. The large local supermarket is a 3 minute drive away and has everything stocked that you could possibly need ( and at good prices) The house itself is massive with an en suite in every bedroom. The house also has everything you could possibly need and is very comfortable! Checking in and out was really easy and Fanny is an absolutely delightful person, easy to contact if you need anything. We are very grateful to both Fanny and Phillipe that they very generously allowed us to move our dates from December 2021 to February 2023 when the UK covid figures were very high and the French Government shut the borders 3 days before we were due to travel. The town of Samoens is very beautiful with lots of shops and restaurants. There are several smaller supermarkets which also stock most items so if you fly in with transfers, your own car wouldn’t be necessary. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Samoens embraced us, we felt fully at home. We loved the many events that were put on by the local people including the carnival and singing events in this fairytale village. We absolutely loved our time here and hope to come back soon!

Wintersport met 3 gezinnen in een tophuis!

Groot, ruim en gezellig huis met alle faciliteiten die je zoekt, 7 slaapkamer met eigen badkamer. Heel veel servies, keuken spullen, alle apparatuur, 2 grote koelkasten, wasmachine + droger, kaasfondue en raclette etc. Huis is nog veel mooier dan de foto's. Dorp is 5 min lopen, skilift 900 meter (wij hebben de auto gebruikt). Huis heeft alles wat je van een verwacht, we gaan volgend jaar weer boeken. Enige gewenste verbetering is dat ze de 2 persoons dekens en lakens vervangen voor 1 persoons dekbedden. We hebben minder goed geslapen, lakens en dekens zijn niet meer van deze tijd.

Es war (fast) alles erstklassig. Wir waren rund herum zufrieden. Leider war de facto kein Internetzugang möglich (WiFi ständig schlecht und mobile Daten schwierig), aber das ist wirklich das Einzige, was nicht funktioniert hat. Ansonsten war alles an unserem Aufenthalt hervorragend und Fanny eine sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite und nette Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank Fanny!

Excellent séjour à plusieurs familles dans ce très grand chalet très bien situé (centre du village accessible à pieds). Fanny était très disponible pour nous aider et répondre à nos demandes. Belle terrasse fermée pour profiter de l'extérieur avec des enfants en bas âge.

Wow - what a place!

We usually hire places larger than we need as most ski chalets can be quite small - this place isn’t!! Plenty of room for everyone and everything you need for a self catered place for a large group of people. The walk into town is good and the ski bus is only a five minute walk - just make sure you time it right with the bus timetable. Would highly recommend this place and we would definitely book again
