A quiet hotel a relatively short distance from Registan Square. Its most appealing feature is the central patio area where breakfast is served or guests can just sit in the sunshine during the day. The mausoleum of the former leader, Islam Karimov, is just up the road. Definitely recommended.

We were the only guests as it was the low season for tourism. The hotel was extremely well decorated, the room was comfortable and the owner was welcoming.

Pool and jacuzzi/sauna room were great - you have to book for an hour of exclusive use but they always fit us in. Short walk to the chorzu bazaar. Staff were really kind - we arrived really early and they let us doze on the reception sofas and managed to get us in to a room pretty early. Very clean rooms and a great view over the bazaar. So lovely we cancelled our hotel before the return flight to go back to here. Totally recommend

Comfortable hotel with environmental potential

All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. However, it could be improved by implementing some already quite common and simple measures for more environmentally friendly operations such as allowing to skip daily cleaning/ exchange of towels (which was possible upon request, though) and adding more local products to the buffet breakfast (is importing apples from Azerbaijan and yogurts from Belarus really necessary?).

Good but not special

The place is ok (clean, friendly management,etc). However, they never replied to our messages before the stay, bathroom smells (and if you forget the door open, the whole room smells). There must be a water pump around and every time anyone opens a tap, it starts making noise.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Nice, comfortable room and bathroom. I liked all the Uzbek decorations around the hotel. Really nice breakfast with lots of delicious homemade treats. We had an early departure to get a train leaving Samarkand early and they made an early breakfast especially for us which was very nice. The staff were helpful with recommendations of places to go. The swimming pool is very small, but it is enough to cool you down. I wasn't able to pay by credit card, so make sure you have cash available. Overall, I would recommend this place and had a good experience.

Beautiful hotel located in the city center. Walking distance to historical and entertainment sites. Very safe and quite. The rooms are clean and staff is polite and responsive. Reasonable and affordable rates. Excellent breakfasts.

Have nothing to say negatively about this place. Could not have been cleaner. The owner /manger and his family were super friendly. Location is good and I received spot on advice regarding the attractions in Samarkand.

This was a pleasant stay in Samarkand. The room with bathroom was very clean and had all facilities. mattress a little hard. Breakfast had a very good selection of local produce. The staff were not always as friendly as I would have liked but warmed up as our stay progressed and obviously language is a barrier. The location is a little out of town but can be accessed by the tram, taxi and by walking from chorsu market in 20 minutes. A good choice
