We could walk to the beach for some surfing in the mornings, then head into town for delicious local eats in the afternoons. In the evenings, the pool area was a lifesaver! Nice and refreshing, with plenty of comfy loungers to catch some rays and unwind. The staff here were incredible. "The hotel doesn't take credit cards so remember to bring enough cash. If you forget there is a bank of Costa Rica a short walk away but it only lets you withdraw 200 american dollars per day. The room could have used AC but the fan worked just fine. The nights were rather loud because of winds and trees dropping things onto the roof. "I would highly recommend, the receptionist was wonderful and very communicative. I made a mistake during the booking online on expedia 2 people instead of 3 and he resolved the issue quickly and hustle free. The room was clean and secure. The pool and jacuzzi was very clean and welcoming. The hotel was exactly like the photos, the breakfast was a plus and definitely wished we stayed longer! "

"The property is located a 2 minute walk from the beach. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and shops. None of the power outlets were working in our first room. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and immediately accommodated us in the room next door. This is an older hotel with very basic necessities. Overall hotel grounds need maintenance. Especially the pool area. The grass was overgrown underneath the lounge chairs. Personally, it wasn’t for us. Booked a two night stay and ended...
