I am from Canada this is a great hotel, close to old town (15 minute walk) and hop on bus. Easy to take a bus from the airport to 2 blocks from hotel. 20 minutes walk to train station. Breakfast was satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location made for an easy walk into town. Nice selection of restaurants and shops on the immediate area. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. Breakfast was well stocked with varied options which were constantly refilled. Only negatives were the size of the room especially the bathroom. Tiny shower space and strange overall layout made it cramped and difficult. I might stay here again.

Great location
The hotel location was perfect! Short 10 minute walk to the Christmas Market and the area has a grocery store and pharmacy close by and some great restaurants! They have a great breakfast buffet and the room was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel was an easy walk to the old city and everything I wished to see. The staff was helpful with directions. I had a long wait between check-out and my train departure, but there isxa comfortable loung with free coffee where I could wait.

We had a good stay at this hotel. A real plus is that they provide a refreshment area including outside space with free tea and coffee plus a microwave. There is also ample seating accommodation in the reception area. There is no cooked breakfast apart from boiled eggs but otherwise breakfast is fine. The standard rooms may be small but we found the size of the "plus" room OK

Was a great location close to the town but far away that it was quiet. Wonderful helpful staff at reception. Room was a good size with balcony. Door could open without a door stop so easy to get in and out with your luggage. Free coffee and tea at reception and a great breakfast each day. Overall highly recommend to all.

We were very impressed by the situation and enjoyed the walk through the predestrian area to the river. The garden was a delightful space; it was great to have tea, coffee,water on hand throughout the day. Great breakfast and lovely staff.

A must in Salz.
The best location that you will ever find in town. The BLVD all the way down to the river starts just across the st. And if the under garage is full, you will get a discount ticket for the famous "inside the mountain" multilevel garage across the street. Again, this is a gem place and the bfast was pretty good. The patio, another great touch.

my rating is excelent because overall we had good nights sleep in a well air conditioned room.However we requested a quite room,we were put in a room 2 floors above the entrance,we had 24h notice of roadworks day & night out side our window,the manager found a much superior room for the night ,so resolved to our satisfaction.we would recomend paying the extra for a balcony room garden facing

The hotel was clean and all cleaning staff were very friendly. Breakfast, which offered a decent selection, is included in your stay (a rarity in Austria). There is also coffee, tea kettles, teas, a microwave, tables, and reading areas that are accessible 24/7. The room included a mini-split AC, which was immensely helpful during the summer heat. No in-room mini fridges, tea kettles, or coffee makers though. There are 2 bus stops nearby, which makes accessing the city a breeze. More regarding convenience: there is a small grocery store across the street and great restaurant options just down the road (highly recommend a stop at Yiyami for incredible Asian cuisine).

Overall the hotel was good for an one nights sleep. I would not book the same hotel for a romantic weekend or with family nor for more than two nights. It lacks basic amenities and facilities. E.g. iron you need to go to the reception and request it. The breakfast was extremely poor, staff stopped refilling missing food since 9:15 although the breakfast was finishing at 10. So if you go for breakfast at 9:30 don't expect to find a variety if things. There was no decaffeinate coffee. Overall staff were not the most welcoming. I am not sure if that was due to lack of the fluency in English. Basic hotel for one night sleep. Comfortable bed, warm water and clean.

Great room and very close to everything even by walking! Great restaurants nearby with real Austrian cuisine. The breakfast at the hotel had lots of options and tasted very fresh and it was included so even better! Overall we had a great trip in Salzburg!

I was very disappointed in our stay. The room we were given had a toilet smeared with feces, and the entire room stank horribly. Beds were not comfortable. The sheets looked dirty with lint and hair on them. The room felt dirty and was very hot. The thermostat could not be turned below 75°F. The room was very barren, with a quality that seemed more suited to a cheap hostel, than a hotel. If we had not arrived so late in the day, I would have left for another hotel. In its favor, the hotel is very close to the Salzburg city center, and very walkable, while providing accessible parking, which was nice as we had a rental car. After seeing the state of the room, we opted to skip the complementary breakfast, so I cannot comment on the quality of that.

We sincerely apologize, our cleaning standards are very high, rooms are due to be double checked before being released to guests. We will certainly look very carefully into this matter to ensure that all guests stay in clean rooms. The thermostat you are referring to is for air-condition only, which we do not use during the heating period. We are required to provide a certain minimum temperature in the rooms, we are sorry, that you would have preferred a lower one. Most of our guest appreciate our modern and functional interior design, again please accept our apologies for not meeting your expectations. It makes us somehow happy to learn that the reminder of your stay in Salzburg was enjoyable.
