  • A lovely newly renovated cottage in Solsidan, a part of Stockholm's wonderful sea-resort Saltsjöbaden.
    Located next to the Baltic and great nature reserve. Just a few minutes walk to the train station that takes you into
    central Stockholm in 30 minutes.

    This suburb has a lot to offer in regards to nature walks, golf, tennis, swimming, sailing, skiing, skating and good
    Restaurants. The cottage is located in a quiet place surrounded by nature. The house is perfect for a couple or family with 1-2 kids or just one person. The first
    room has a twin bed, the second room has a fold up couch.

Very nice house and good surroundings

A little fine house with everything you need. The lady spoke very good English and was very kind and helpful. We tried to drive to Stockholm by car, don't do it, there is absolutely no parking space. But it was easy enough by bus. We went walking through the national parks and had some lovely bike tours. We would recommend the house for everyone who likes not only town life but also nature. Thank you very much for the very nice week!

Solsidon Cottage

This is about one hour by bus outside center city Stockholm, but this will improve once the tram reopens. This a very quiet and peaceful area next to a bay.We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice little apartment

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment is well-equipped. The neighbourhood is very nice and quiet. We enjoyed bike-rides und swims but also sight-seeing in Stockholm. The Busstop is only 10 min away which was important for us since we came by train.

Ein tolles Erlebnis

Empfangen wurden wir - auch wenn wir nicht so gut englisch geschweige denn schwedisch sprechen - sehr herzlich. Das Ferienhaus war sehr gut eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Solsidan ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für sämtliche Unternehmungen. Wir grüßen die Gastgeber sehr herzlich.

Tolle Unterkunft

Alles da was man braucht. Man kommt gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nach Stockholm. Man kann auch tolle Radtouren unternehmen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Rückblick

Das Bad war sehr klein. Richtig gestört hat das extrem kleine Waschbecken und der Plastikduschvorhang. Das Bett war für unsere Verhältnisse extrem weich, wir mochten es so auf keinen Fall und hatten Rückenschmerzen. die Einrichtung war sehr sehr einfach und teilweise auch defekt. Die Vermieter sind okay. Schade ist auch, dass man keinen schönen Außen-Sitzplatz hat. Man hätte mit den Holzstühlen zum Parkplatz laufen müssen (100m) auch keine tolle Idee. entschädigt hat uns die fantastische Natur, die wunderschönen Fahrradtouren und natürlich auch Stockholm.

Ferienhäuschen mit guter Ausstattung.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in Nähe eines Stegs mit Bademöglichkeit. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. Zum Badestrand in ca 3km können die gestellten Räder gut genutzt werden. Die Anbindung nach Stockholm, mit Vorortzügen (2mal umsteigen bis Slussen) dauert ca 40 min. Fahrradmitnahme ist zwichen 9 u. 15 Uhr und wieder nach 18 Uhr möglich. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, der Kontakt ist völlig unklompliziert. Pluspunkt im Haus ist das eigene WLAN ( hat aber manchmal Aussetzter) Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Lovely little get a way

We spent a very happy 8 nights here. As we hadn't rented a car we relied on the local train - which worked well and we nipped in to Stockholm easily a couple of times. The hosts were very welcoming and we have everything we needed. If I was to say anything less positive it would be that its such a shame the host cant make a small area available so you can sit outside (garden is private), also the cottage is a little overlooked by the main house. All in all we have a lovely time and would recommend!

Appartement dichtbij Stockholm

Mooie omgeving. Appartementje naast huis eigenaar met complete keuken, prima douche. WiFi en tv aanwezig. Minder was dat eigenaar niet wil dat gasten in tuin zitten waardoor er geen gelegenheid is om buiten te zitten op terras of in tuin. Dit is in de zomer echt een nadeel.

Magnificent stay nearby Stockholm

A warm welcome by the house owners, who live nearby and who have great tips for visiting the region. We also were able to go to Stockholm, although a rental car is needed for that. The house is very well equipped and well maintained. Nancy & Johan, Belgium
