Welcome to Urban Central - This gorgeous craftsman home is all about location! Centrally located to some of Salt Lake City's best attractions, this house is 2 minutes to the historic Sugarhouse district and 10 minutes to downtown, the Salt Palace Convention Center and Temple Square. Convenient access to I-80 means hitting the slopes is also a breeze! Find a TRAX light rail station just a 3 minute walk from the front door- perfect for commuting around downtown!



Not only does this home have a fantastic location, there's a fenced backyard, private hot tub in the garage, and plenty of room to spread out (find a full list of features below). This is the perfect accommodation for conventions, University of Utah events, ski trips and those looking to explore Park City and downtown Salt Lake City.



This home is dog-friendly, with a $100 fee per dog. No cats. If you are planning on bringing your furry friend, please make the appropriate selection at check-out or inform us directly so that we may update your reservation accordingly. Maximum 2 pets allowed unless approved otherwise (please contact us for approval). Failure to notify us may result in a fine of $500. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.

Great place all around.

Super easy to check in, property was as explained plus some and the location is greatly understated, it’s in the perfect area. Close to SL close to Park City and lagoon. Everything you can want to eat or shop within minutes (don’t Uber just go pick it up it’s wayyyy cheaper and close enough) highly recommend!!

The house had plenty of space for three couples plus one infant and never felt overcrowded. Any issue we had was immediately addressed. The home was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful experience.

Cozy Christmas

My husband, special needs adult daughter, and two dogs had a wonderful stay in this house. It was very clean, well appointed and comfortable. It was within 5 minutes of our son and daughter-in-law so was perfectly located. The fenced backyard was great for the dogs. Neighborhood was quiet and convienent to shopping and such. We would highly recommend this house for a large group as there is plenty of room and well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. Hope to stay here again!

Great place for a group

We had a bigger group of athletes all staying together in town for a tournament and this was perfect. We had enough beds and shower spaces to keep us happy. The kitchen and grill were perfect for us to make all our meals. The hosts were very responsive and easy to reach. We would stay again!

Great place to spend the holidays with our family!

Great pet-friendly home with convenient location to Brighton Resort, grocery shopping, and other activities in Salt Lake City. Very comfortable accommodations for our 6-7 adults for a week, w/ fenced backyard for pup! Nice kitchen for cooking and staying in, and also enjoyed eating out and food delivery. Highly recommend!

Fun family house

We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was well stocked, and the managers were very responsive. There are some conflicting instructions between emails, signage, and the binder. Otherwise the stay was easy, comfortable, and clean.

Perfect home away from home!

My friends and I were doing a weekend staycation downtown because of some events we were attending in SLC over the weekend and this house was the perfect cozy retreat to come back to! It had so many rooms and comfortable spots for all of us to stay in. We loved getting in the hot tub and relaxing in the backyard. We felt very safe, and comfortable throughout our stay. We also loved playing shuffleboard in the basement! It was perfect for us! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Thanksgiving 2024

Communication and check in went well. The house was clean and accommodating. The location was awesome just minutes away from everything we needed. The only complaint was on Friday morning after thanksgiving we were awakened by the yard maintenance crew blowing and picking up all the leaves. They did a great job but a heads up would have been nice. Thanks for the great stay.

Just what we needed.

We are on a 3 month road trip and this house gave us a great break from hotels. We were able to stretch out, do some laundry and relax for a few days. Love the fenced backyard and garage for parking. Check in and out was super easy, house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in. Proximity to shopping and restaurants was good.

The house, yard, parking, and neighborhood were all lovely. It was clean and easy to negotiate. A couple of the mattresses REALLY need to be replaced. My daughter ended up sleeping on the floor rather than deal with her bed in the basement bedroom.

What this property description doesn’t emphasize is that there’s room by the garage to park an 18’ trailer AND a full size truck can fit in the garage WITH two Harley’s (even with the hot tub in there) In addition, we had our two furry friends with us and loved that we could let them out back with no worries- fully fenced in. Property management got right back to me the couple times I needed their assistance. We would probably stay up in Park City if we came back (that’s where most of our sights and activities ended up being), but if we wanted to be back in SLC, we would stay at this place again.

Spacious, quiet home

Great house, clean, super comfortable! Plenty of quiet spaces for online working. Spacious backyard, good sized kitchen, super comfy couch. The only disappointing thing is that the photos don’t make ir clear that the hot tub is across the yard from the house, in a detached unfinished garage, with old appliances and ugly garage stuff, and the tub itself sits right next to the parked car with no barrier or visual separation. It just doesn’t feel conducive to relaxation. Ended up not using it.

We enjoyed the location and made a quick trip to Park City and all around town- walking distance to the commuter train. Hot tub in the garage was clean and working well. We especially enjoyed playing shuffle board and using the kitchen which was well equipped. The property was in overall good condition except for most of the lightbulbs in the kitchen were out. We appreciate that someone came after the holiday and replaced those though. Had to move some lamps around as the lighting in some rooms was not adequate but that was no problem.

Charming House

My family of 7 adults came to stay for a ski get-a-way. We loved the excellent location to the resort, grocery, restaurants and activities. The neighborhood is quiet. The home provides lots of room for the family to be together and separate when some alone time is needed. I enjoyed having the washer/dryer and extra towels available to us. Sometimes homes are skimpy on these and here we had plenty. The hot tub was in great condition and was used by our family often. We cooked nightly and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dishes and glassware. The property created a very detailed book listing surrounding area activities and services which was a very nice touch. Other than the property needing a few minor repairs and deeper cleaning, they were very attentive to all communications and everything ran exactly as they promised it would checking in and out and addressing any question I had that came up. I really appreciated feeling like I had a person I could rely on. The house is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The online photos are accurate. Side note, the extra bed downstairs by the den area does fit an adult male. All the mattresses are good quality and bathrooms nicely updated and fresh. Well Done, SugarHouse Gem.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was in a great location for our stay. I was visiting my daughter who lives in SLC with my other daughter and sisters. The location was perfect with easy access to highways. The kitchen was well equipped for our breakfasts and late night snacking. Plenty of table space for all of our board games and card games. Garage access was nice. Neighborhood seemed nice - had no issues at all. Few things need to be fixed - temperature was too hot and didn't seem to work when we turned the heat down. It felt like someone else was controlling the temperature. Many lightbulbs were burned out or the fixtures had strange lighting with multiple colored bulbs and various wattage. Light fixtures need cleaning as multiple bugs within lighting fixtures. Bunk Bed was extremely wobbly and therefore no one could sleep in top bunk (thankful that there was a king bed to share). Never used hot tub but seems very strange that it was in the garage.

Very nice house! A little tricky to find via GPS (it was routing us to the garage behind the house), but otherwise, lovely centralized location. We would absolutely stay there again, should the need arise. It was really wonderful to have all the space the house provided.
