It was a lovely place with easy access to everything downtown. As a single female, I appreciated feeling safe with gated parking and electronic access control.

great location - close to temple, delta center, convention center, etc by walking (long blocks). plus grocery at corner. safe area. couch was too soft and the two separate “beds” were basically cushions. however, we were only two people so no problems since regular bed and murphy bed.
Communication was good with owner. This place is smaller than how it appears on the listing but was ok for what we needed for our trip. Furnace didn’t work when we got there and owner was quick to buy a space heater for us. Dryer didn’t work either and wasn’t able to be fixed.

Overall, the stay was good. I was surprised to learn the apartment was a basement without windows that didn't open.(Maybe I missed that in the write-up) Also, I did have to make up the additional beds. Communication with property manager was very quick when needed. The location and gated parking spot were ideal for our stay.
The bunk beds are just foam on hard wood, not very comfy or good. A buzzing noise went off every hour or so even through the night waking us up multiple times. There was also construction in this building which was incredibly loud early in the morning. Otherwise it was a clean and nice stay, good location and close to the delta center which was awesome.
I ended up renting this place to myself versus a hotel down the street for a convention. Saved some money and had the place to myself. Stayed in the main bedroom and the city has plenty of scooters to get around. The murphy bed was in the main room. The extra 2 bunkbeds (in the converted closet) looked functional, but glad I had the main bedroom. As a tip, to get in and out of the place, you'll end up using the code a lot. The key sort of didn't work. There was a garage door opener, but teh code is your best option. A convenience store on the same block where you can get some supplies before everything closes. Overall nice spot and glad I had it.
Excellent location near Family Search Library, our destination. Getting inside was convoluted: park in guest parking, enter code to get in gate and again to get in building, and a different code to get in unit. Then after unpacking, grab gate opener and go outside, open gate, pull car into parking spot, close gate with remote, then go to opposite side of the building to enter code and enter building, then walk back to unit. Would be easier to take remote with you and close gate from outside the parking area.
Older building but nice inside. Small bedroom with no end table next to bed for CPAP machine. Only a small upholstered chair next to bed, with small table opposite the bed.
Biggest concern was the internet didn’t work. There was a router in the kitchen but no cable plugged into it. The owners instructions were to use a different router, which I connected to, but no internet service. Same with the TV: connected but no internet. Owner said previous user had the same problem, but not fixed.
Finally the unit could really use a couple of luggage stands in the living room. No room in the bedroom so we had to use the living room couch, which we didn’t use for watching TV, since it didn’t have internet access. Know that this unit is smaller than some hotel rooms, but for us staying 2 nights, and close to the airport, we made it work.
The property was clean overall. The location was perfect for our needs (we were attending a business conference 2 blocks away at the Salt Palace). The entry instructions were fairly straight forward. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, spices, and cutleries. Both the bed in the bedroom and the murphy bed in the living room were comfortable. The listing was accurate. The neighborhood felt safe and spacious even though it was in downtown. A small irritant was that there not much closet/drawer space to put our belongings in. There was a closet in the bedroom, but it was filled with cleaning supplies and extra towels... May I suggest to the owner that at least one drawer be made available for guest use.Overall this was a very good Vrbo, and I would try to rent it again if I was back in the area.

Location to Convention Center is Good
The property is located across the street from the far end of the Convention Center parking lot, which was convenient and saved 10 in parking costs. It is in the basement level of an OLD building. Thin floors and walls made it hard to relax and sleep- upstairs neighbor was up until 1:00 AM every night, walking around in combat boots!; But the bed was comfortable, and the place was nice enough—just keep the windows closed for privacy! The description of rules for entry and entertainment need to be updated- no longer need key for front door- use code; and if there is no gate clicker available for parking, I was assured you will not be towed from two hour guest parking???? Smart TV is available, but you will need to use your own subscriptions to watch it.
