"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

"Fun place to stay so close to the Melk Abbey. No lift or AC but opened windows at night and the provided fan made the room very comfortable. Quaint hotel and town. Easy access to the Abbey and walking distance to the Danube. "

There are no activity area around the hotel, with no restaurants nearby except the hotel’s own. During our stay, the elevator was out of order, and we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs.
