It was fine. Its an old property and it feels like it (feels dingy). They are renovating so perhaps that will help. No grassy areas for dogs so keep that in mind if you're traveling with pets.

This place was filthy! We did come with a 12lb. dog. That doesn’t mean we need the worst room in the hotel. I don’t think they even vacuumed the room. There were mouse boxes in the hallway. We will never stay there again.

Generally okay. Cleanliness of common areas was lacking. Many holes in ceilings and damaged walls. Sour milk at breakfast.

They were remodeling but I was not informed. We checked in late and our room has that popcorn ceiling all over so Bob went and vacuumed it up. I coughed all night and in the morning it was just as bad. I think i had an allergic reaction to the dust.

After 1400 reviews and a 8 /10 rating, I now question any hotel recommendations by Expedia. This place was a dump! Never been to a inside hotel rated this high that had no elevator. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Not Pet Friendy!
We reserved two rooms that were pet friendly. After check in were told cats are not allowed. They asked us to stay somewhere else. It was 11:32 PM. Manager refused to give some form of refund documents. I argued until he did. I still have not received my refund. During this whole interaction he kept blaming the young woman working there. He was very awful to her. Very unprofessional! It was not her fault in my opinion. They shouldn’t advertise it’s pet friendly if it’s only dog friendly. Or at least have a sign that’s in clear view so we didn’t finish the check in process.

The young lady who checked you in should have made you aware of the pet policy before checking you in . we dont allow cats at our property...yes it was her responsabilty since she was the one that checked you in.

DISGUSTING DARK DIRTY DINGY
DISGUSTING. No other word describes it. Took 10 min just to get someone to check us in. The hotel itself was dark & dingy & the parking lot was a minefield. Get into our room & my wife & I checked the covers & it had either blood or ketchup on them & I said to my wife ‘we’re not staying here’ now mind you we had a no-cancel rsvp - so I went to the front desk; demanded she see the bed & all she would do is offer me another room. Nope- we were having none of it. No other apologies or amends would get us to stay there. We had to suck up the night as a full loss & find somewhere else to stay (using a free night I had stored away). Absolutely the worst Americinn I’ve ever stayed in & I doubt I will give the chain another shot based on this. No way it deserves the 7.8 review it has on this site & a few others. Deserves a ZERO tops.

Room smelled musty upon entering. Rust stain on the floor in the bathroom and the toilet seat was repaired/refinished inexpertly. In the hallway, wallpaper separating at the seams and a long stain that looked like oil made a trail for maybe 10 feet. Lamp in the room hadn’t been wiped off in some time as it had a crusty substance on it.

Great price. Nice staff. The keycards worked all weekend which never happens. They get a big gold star for that. I will stay again. Lots of food walking distance. Close to most everything.

It rained in my room the first nite from the window seal in room above the ac unit. I notified the front desk and they just said ok. Didnt send anyone the next day nor offered to move us to a different room. The bedsheets were also dingy. Clean! But not a crispy white.

5 Star Hotel, don't be fooled.
This is not a 8 star hotel. The hotel is rundown and not well taken care of. It needs to be renovated desperately. Cracks, rust, and stained carpets. If you are looking for a cheap hotel for a quick one night stay than this certainly works as the area seemed safe and would be suitable, but listing this hotel is a 5-6 star hotel at best.
