Bed and Breakfast in Salerno - Paestum

"Our criteria was an affordable hotel with a front desk & relatively close to the train station. This hotel delivered precisely that. It was just across the square, not even 10 minutes easy walk. Our room faced the square & had a little balcony style window which could be opened but not sat on. There was both an outside shutter & curtains which were very effective in blocking out noise & light. We slept well & were not disturbed at all. The room was very clean, well appointed & large enough for our needs. The included breakfast was largely continental style with the most delicious pastries & cakes. Scrambled eggs & cappuccinos were made to order & very appreciated. The staff were friendly especially the gentleman on the front desk who we think may be the owner but we forgot his name. We tried to extend our initial stay as we enjoyed it so much, however sadly for us it was booked out. It is the perfect location for not only travel options but Is also on the corner of the lovely main street with so many shops & eateries to explore! We highly recommend this place! "

"Great location for buses,ferries and trains in Solerno to visit Amalfi coast. Also 2 grocery stores conveniently nearby. Property was very well maintained, clean and bright. Nice kitchen area with access to a fridge and dining area. No front desk so you make arrangements to meet at the site when you expect to arrive. After that you get keys, are shown the site and live your life. Excellent for travellers who are somewhat independent and can figure a few things out. We greatly enjoyed our stay for 8 nights. "

"This place is a short walk from the train station and right across the street from the marina where a ferry will take you out to some of the islands. It has a nice cafe and the staff was very friendly and helpful, even though I am an American who does not speak Italian, it is located on the main road and plays loud music at night. Choose a non sea view room for a quieter experience. "

"This was a wonderful spot in the absolute best location in Salerno 3 minutes walk to anything. It was very clean and the room was large. Although the shower was a bit tight it was no tighter than showers we stayed in in 4 star hotels and most importantly the water was hit and plentiful The check in was super easy and bag storage was perfect The hotelier was very very responsive and helpful It was a great find"

"I made a last-minute booking. The room was spacious and featured a balcony. There was a bit of a hassle during check-in because the elevator required 20 cents, or alternatively, picking up the key from the second floor. The host provided guidance through a video call. The breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, I was pleased with my stay."

"I wanted to let you know that your apartment and extraordinary kindness made our stay in Salerno just a wonderful visit! This place was just great, as described, and perfectly located. Very comfortable, every amenity one could want and truly only 10 minutes from the train terminal. After our first day, ( with the nice lady help on the phone from test) we were able to navigate the city quite easily. Gulia was just great and did a wonderful job as well. We certainly hope that our travels will bring us your way once again, and if so, we will certainly stay with you. 5 STAR Plus."

"This hotel is walkable from the main station and also has parking. The staff were excellent and accommodating. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the ocean. The property has a wide range of breakfast options and is walkable from the city center. There was a school trip staying in the hotel during the same time, and they were very loud throughout the evening, night, and morning - including slamming doors and screaming in the hallways and breakfast room. The hotel is large and I would’ve preferred to have been given a room in a different area of the hotel, which may be outside of staff control. "
