Bed and Breakfast in Salernes

"Interesting property. Remote and quiet. The bed was a bit hard and the pillows limited and worn, but the outdoors was unique. Restful and quiet. We never saw anyone. Not lux, but rustic. "

"My room smell really bad when I walked it, moldy and lots of humidity. I turned the AC on immediately and by time I came back from dinner was hoping it was gone but the actual AC was very old and bad smell was coming out of it I have to turned it off. Is a shame bse the property is nice but the rooms need a makeover for sure! "

"A delightful stay surrounded by vineyards! The cheese and wine pairing tasting we had was excellent, and the dinners we had in the restaurant were excellent; tased great and good service. Only let down is the overpriced breakfast… not much in the way of hot food, and it’s a self service buffet with consistently burnt pastries so definitely not worth €22 each! "

"This property was perfect for our holiday. It provided peace and quiet and was only approx 1-2 hour drive to main attraction locations, ie St Tropez, Toulon etc. The house has everything you will need; pool, cooking facilities, barbecue etc. The layout of the house is unique; one of the bedrooms is downstairs and is accessed either from outside the property or via the veranda (which can be locked), but it worked well for us."

" Overall we had a pleasant stay — the campsite is clean and the facilities are good for families. However, we were quite surprised by a strange and outdated rule at the swimming pool: men are only allowed to wear tight-fitting swimwear, such as briefs or tight boxers. Regular swim shorts (including sport brands like Adidas, etc.) are not allowed. This rule supposedly exists for "hygiene" reasons, but it is applied only to men, which feels arbitrary and even discriminatory. Women are free to wear whatever swimwear they like, including ones they've used elsewhere. It would have been helpful to clearly state this rule during the booking process, as many guests were unaware and had to buy new swimwear just to access the pool. I hope the management will reconsider this policy or at least ensure equal and fair standards for all guests in the future "

"This apartment in Aiguines was perfect for our stay near the Verdon Gorge. The apartment is beautiful inside and is very spacious. We especially loved the balcony that overlooks the lake and chateau. The only downside is the apartment does not include linens/towels or internet, which was not communicated to us until after we paid and made the reservation. However, the linen fee of 30 was minimal, but I would have preferred to have known this upfront when I made the reservation. I would love to stay here again and would totally recommend to friends!"
