When you arrive and find a queen mattress teetering on a full size box spring I really don’t know how to describe my feelings. It was enough for me to tell the girl at the desk about it and explain that I will refuse to pay for the second night as I could not sleep like that a second night. I will be contacting Expedia and this is just the beginning of my complaint. About all the issues on this trip. I will be making public comments against this Inn. Staff was nice but they were talking about some murderer that they were involved with? Loudly to other guests. The linen seemed clean, albeit, holy with cigarette burns. I checked for bedbug signs and saw none. Everything else seemed very old and dirty (you could tell it was wiped down but deeply stained and not taken care of) and I just never wanted to leave my room. I did feel safe but it was ultimately not a great stay with these things in mind and the fact that there must not be any soundproofing here.

Needs an overhaul
The whole hotel needs an overhaul. Old carpet, damaged walls, everything feels "dirty". There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room. I was on the way to buy some, but stopped at the desk, just in case. The sweet young woman at the counter gave me some as she shivered in her winter coat in the reception area. It was missed when the room was cleaned.

I arrived at 130 and was turned away from check in, when I came back 6 hours later I came into the lobby to 2 teenagers laying on couches barely clothed, and ignored me. The girl who checked me in was sketchy, to say the least, she barely spoke, had face tattoos, and had an attitude. The room itself was smelly like mold and body odor, the shower had surprisingly good water pressure and the bed was comfortable. In the morning the maids were in the hallway gossiping very loud and blasting Mexican music from their phones, not exactly the way I was hoping to awake. I was never so happy to be only staying somewhere for one night.

My staywas short but pleasant. The staff were warm and pleasant The room was xlean and comfortable. There were a couple of minor things - that would be easybto resolve - only 1 light in the rioom - a bedside light would be great. -;qlthough i was alone - resevation was for 2 - only 1 wet of towels in the roo-; - last & only had hot water fr a minute in shower - then cold- it was about 830a -:suspect maid were starting laundry With that said - i would stay again if traveling g in that area

Very friendly family oriented service. The woman who checked us in was kind and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable stay overnight. Didn’t get to use the pool but it was open and available. Walking distance to the grand lodge and other local attractions.

I like the friendly staff but I always have to check the condition of the toilet and the locks on the doors and windows. The door and window was OK this time but the toilet would hardly flush and we didn't have all the usual towels and had to ask for more.

Website list the following amenities that were not provided during my 3 night stay; Free Wifi, 24/7 Front Desk, & Daily housekeeping. Wifi was not an option, there's no telephone in the room either. The front lobby is locked and closed during a certain time every night. Our room was not cleaned at anytime during our 3 night stay. When we arrived, the room smelled as if someone just poured clorox all over the place, in the bathroom were 2 towels (1 bath & 1 hand) for a party of 2. The coffee maker & hair dryer were located on the sink counter, cords tangled and both appliances pushed into the corner of the towel holder (very unsafe). The tv was stuck on one channel the entire time. The remote control held together by duct tape. The beds are pilliow tops; it is over due for replacement as the bed sinks toward the middle leaving us to sleep sideways in uncomfortable positions. There hotel has complimentary PB&J sandwhiches in the lobby. However, it is on a table top, left open all day, and each time I walked past it, I saw more peanut butter or jelly on the table. No one cleaned it regularly. The parking lot needs more light. There was a man pleasuring himself in the parking lot while I was there, it was scary and no security or people monitoring the free onsite parking they advertise. Unfortunately no other hotel in that town was avaliable leaving me with no other choice but to stay at this hotel.
