Lovely lodge next to the sea
Lovely lodge right on the beach. Quaint lodge rooms were very comfortable but ceilings are slopped so not good if you are tall. Brilliant shower but getting a little worn, still loved it. Food on the premises good and reasonable, friendly staff.
The self catering unit met all our needs. The enclosed garden was perfect for our small yorkies. The units are of decent size, comfortable beds.
The premises are well-maintained.
This is a perfect location to explore Langebaan and Paternoster.
R500 deposit is required upon check in.
Staff on duty complained about a check in complaint we had - very unprofessional.

DO NOT GO THERE - IT IS DEEPLY POLLUTED
DO NOT GO THERE
The hotel markets itself as a beach front hotel for families... You are required to pre-pay your stay.
However, when you arrive, you will find a hotel situated meters from big and dirty industry, all premises deeply polluted by iron ore dust. The red dust is everywhere, red stuff running down from the roofs. And you can feel the smell of ore in the air at all times.
No family should be staying in such conditions. And no kids should be playing on such polluted beaches.
We left after half a day. We were not going to stay there with a small kid longing to play in the sand on the beach...
When you turn the attention to the problem to hotel management they just note that they are not responsible for "external environmental factors"... and they are not willing to refund.
May I ask, if you are responsible for your own messages in advertising!?
DO NOT GO THERE!
We really enjoyed our stay in the pet friendly self catering unit. Great kitchen with everything you might need. Private Braai area and safe and enclosed for our dogs.
Lovely bed, spacious rooms.
Our dogs loved it even more than us.
Lovely area, and the sea view from our room, kitchen and living room were to die for.
The hotel was at the side of the beach, the views from the restaurant were great and you could walk on to the beach.
the service in the restaurant was excellent.
my room was a little noisy as i could hear the kitchen, but this did not stop me from sleeping.
A well run establishment in a great setting. Good meals, great setting on the lagoon, a comfortable bed and good wifi. A perfect place to end a working day relaxing in one of the picturesque locations on the West Coast. Will be back , shower was an issue , otherwise great, Thanks!
Really was surprised. Beautiful Spot. Staff were friendly.

Nice place but has few flaws
Family friendly and nice views only disappointment was that we had no wi-fi in the rooms that were allocated to us the wi-fi was only in the main reception and breakfast room. We were unable to get any taxis and when we had forgotten our keys one nite There was no one on the reception to try and contact to ask for help, the place was deserted and we had to drive half back to where my mum was.
