"SUPER lovely and stylish home with great design and great location. Wonderful living room for everyone to hang out and chat. Lovely touches, very attentive housekeeper. Sorry to say one issue was annex 4th room was not the same high quality as the rest of the house: Cramped and water issues (beyond those described in advance by the owner). Suggest only booking main house - truly wonderful there! "

"Sea views, clean, comfortable and quiet. The seafood restaurant is excellent, every meal looks colourful and fresh.The staff are always ready to help, excellent service all round. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return many times."

"Wonderful large lodge ideal for our family. Most relaxing time ever. The lodge had everything we needed, Beds were very comfortable with lovely soft linen and the site was remote and quiet but slightly out of season which suited us, can’t imagine getting too noisy though as good space and double glazed. Parking very good. Nice Soar Mill Cove hotel a short walk away for quality meals and spa facility. Soar mill cove is lovely for a private cool dip. We took advantage of Mike’s taxi to get us back from a beautiful coastal walk to Salcombe but missed out on Overbecks garden visit as closed on Friday and Saturday but will go back. Walk to Hope cove was also beautiful. In all could not fault anything lovely lodge. Would recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay at Wellingtons. The apartment was perfect for our family - spacious and beautifully furnished but also very practical for a young family. The pool was super clean and warm - the children loved it. We enjoyed the walk into town - Salcombe is a great location with plenty of food options. South Sands beach was great with the added bonus of amenities. If you love gardens you must visit Overbecks National Trust - it is stunning. I should also add that our host was very quick at responding to our questions and very helpful."

"We had a wonderful time at East Soar farm. The kids enjoyed being surrounded by the animals and we did the splendid walk to Salcombe Beach and back. The apartment has just what you need in order to cook, sleep and shower and was very clean upon arrival. We felt very welcome and well taken care off."

"This property is ideal for a large family group. We had teens at 16 years to their grandparents at 80 and the house worked well for all of us. The property is clean and well presented but still practical so you can relax in it. It was very well set up in terms of equipment and facilities. The hot tub and sauna were a surprising godsend to our break, giving us plenty of things to do around the house when the weather wasn’t fantastic. The location both in the town centre and Salcombe was just amazing for when the weather was great. We had an absolutely super time and would like to thank our hosts very much for all their help and hospitality."

"We had a lovely 3 day stay at Soar Mill Cove. The food is outstanding, really delicious. Breakfast was great, lots of attention to detail like homemade jams. We ended up having dinner there twice and a couple of cream teas as it was so good. Lounge area is great with the sea view, we enjoyed playing board games there. Pool is lovely, really clean and bigger than it looks in the pictures. Staff were friendly and attentive. Mostly families staying over Easter which was nice for the kids. There were a few mix-ups on food and drinks orders, wrong stuff coming out or things missing, but these were always resolved quickly and didn't really matter to us."
