"I chose this hotel because of the good reviews and location. After a long bike tour, I wanted a hassle-free stay and paid $77 USD for one night. The first night was fine. The issue began when I went to extend my stay. Instead of processing the extension, the staff brought out a laundry bag with a towel I had used to wipe dirt off my hiking shoes and told me I would have to pay for it to be washed. When I asked how much, they said they would “let me know tomorrow” because it was Sunday. That meant I was expected to accept an unknown charge. I reviewed the contract, translated it, and pointed out the clause stating guests can only be charged if an item is permanently damaged and cannot be restored by washing. Only after I referenced this section did they say management decided not to charge me. Given the premium rate, this handling was disappointing. I chose not to extend my stay and moved two blocks away to a private apartment with underground parking and a washer/dryer for $33. The location is good, but if you stay here, pay close attention to any additional charges and be ready to defend your rights."

"The restaurant had a great variety of food. The steaks were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The service was incredible. I recommend the double luxury room with private jacuzzi. The room is beautiful, luxurious living room and beautiful private balcony with hot tub. Top notch facility. "

"This is a beautiful venue in the city of Manizales. Rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. The location is in a natural reserve with the opportunity to see butterflies, hummingbirds and other birds. It is near the business district. Breakfast is included and it has two restaurants with a good menu. Staff is very courteous and helpful."

If you're getting there at night, the hotel is a little hard to find so be ready to call when you're about 2min out and someone from the hotel will flag you down into the parking garage."
