Zikak - Charming Creole cottage just a stone's throw from the ocean

"Zikak" is a colourful one-bedroom apartment nestled in a lush, green setting, offering complete privacy at the Zandolikoko holiday rentals in Sainte-Anne, on Helleux Beach.<br><br>Ideal for two adults, it can accommodate up to 4 people.<br>It consists of:<br>- A small, air-conditioned bedroom with a 140x190 cm double bed, a mosquito net, and a shelf.<br><br>- A large 24 m² room that serves as a living room or an additional bedroom if there are more than 2 adults: it features a sofa bed that we can convert into an extra double bed for 2 people (adults or children) with a mosquito net.<br><br>There is also a TV and a bamboo bench. <br>! Please note that there is no air conditioning in the living room. We can set up the sofa bed for two adults who wish to sleep separately—for a small additional fee to cover laundry costs. Please let us know in advance.<br>- A kitchenette with induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, and refrigerator.<br><br>- A bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet.<br>Outside, you’ll find a covered patio with patio furniture and a hammock, as well as a private, tree-lined garden with two lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and a clothesline.<br><br><br>On the patios, you can connect to the internet for free (Wi-Fi). (Depending on your equipment, you may also be able to connect indoors.)<br>Since our home is on the property, we can recommend great places for walks or restaurants, and we can also lend you masks, snorkels, and bodyboards if you’d like.<br>A 500-meter walk takes you to Helleux Beach (Gros Sable Beach). You can swim at this beach, and beginners can safely take surfing lessons there. <br>A 10-minute walk will take you to the Pierre & Vacances beach. To get there, walk along the coastline through the “50 Pas Géographiques” protected area, which offers a magnificent view of Marie-Galante. The beach is public, with white sand and coconut palms.<br>A 15-minute walk will take you to the picture-perfect beaches of Bois Jolan. Here, too, you’ll enjoy a superb stroll through the hills amid sugarcane fields. You’ll pass by ponds where you can watch birds. It’s also a car-free protected area.<br>By car, for shopping, you can reach the hamlet of Châteaubrun in 2 minutes, where you’ll find a petrol station, a bakery, a convenience store, a doctor’s office, a pharmacy, a physical therapist, and more…<br>A 5-minute drive away, there’s a small shopping centre with a Leader Price, a bakery…<br>The nearest bus stop is 1 km away.<br>We provide sheets, bath towels, and tea towels (changed weekly).<br>Additional changes are available upon request for an extra fee; the same applies if you’d like a mid-stay cleaning. <br>We lend out a cot and high chair free of charge if needed.
