"A really charming place to stay, with a welcoming host, and comfortable room with stunning country views. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, with lovely homemade touches - all made even better by taking place in the beautiful courtyard. We stayed for 4 nights but would have loved to stay longer."

10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful place to stay with family. The pool and huge garden were great for the kids (well, for everyone really!).Lovely outdoor spaces and a great barbecue.Kitchen and dining area are large and very well equipped.Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with nice towels and linens provided.Lounge area was large and comfortable - but all of the outdoor space is so lovely we hardly spent any time inside.Tracy is a great host - very helpful and easy to communicate with.Recommend Le Peyrat very very highly!"
"Very enjoyable property for our large family vacation. Like any french country house there are always minor issues but they were soon resolved or lived with. "
COMPLETE AUTHENTIC HOUSE QUIET & QUIET PRIVATE PICINE 10 x 4m heated
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at this well-equipped property in a very peaceful location. The pool was clean and a great bonus, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Itâs about a 30 minute walk into town along a quiet road without a pavement. Emilie, the property manager, was always on hand and very helpful. Would happily return!"
Old farmhouse renovated in a 3 hectares estate in Dordogne
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely break - the house was pretty much as described. The pool is great - the outside eating space is fantastic and there are 3 big fridges to keep everything cold. The living accommodation is great and it really is a lovely house. Tennis court is in good nick - but bring your own racquets and balls as the stuff there is not great.Thierry - who sorts out any issues was great and really responsive. A few small negatives - the oven is pretty useless and I see that previous reviews have mentioned this - a low cost solution that would make things easier for guests. Secondly - there are no restaurants within walking distance as in the description - but some good ones a short drive away. Finally - you have to pay to use the bikes in the photos - 20 euros a bike - just so you are aware these are not included. "
"Accommodation is as described - clean and fresh. Pool is lovely. Comms with Wilfrid was very good - thank you Google translate. All was quiet and peaceful just 30 mins drive into Bergerac. Points for improvement- property is very new feeling with little thought to cooking practicalities- no chopping board, zero space to prepare food which is disappointing. BBQ was available apparently but never seen. Aircon essential and very good in living room but nothing - not even fans in the bedrooms. This was uncomfortable. Finally - and really sadly the WiFi wasnât working. Wilfrid tried his best on the first night but no luck and no furthe communication as to why on when it would be restored. All that said - loved the setting and would return."
"We enjoyed a quite outstanding evening meal cooked by the owner. It was original and delicious.
The hotel itself was quirky, albeit in a good way. Old fashioned and probably in need of a facelift; but as a taste of rural France, hard to beat. "
