Ideal location

Had a wonderful time in St Valery. Great location (quiet road, just on the edge of the medieval city, under 5 minutes walk to the river, with a creperie at the end of the road). Very clean, and was better than the photos - sensitively restored old building, very light and bright. Had everything we needed. Check-in and out was very easy and we appreciated the patisserie and restaurant recommendations!

Maison très bien située

Maison très bien située et décorée avec goût Grand espace de salle à manger et agréable salon TV Grandes chambres également Cuisine très bien équipée Seul point moyen : la salle de douche, petite et sans par douche au Rdc. Il y a une salle de bain au 1er étage mais difficile d’y prendre une douche La communication et l’accueil ont été très efficaces et sympathiques.

SEJOUR TRES AGREABLE

Ravi de cette location qui mélange à la fois le charme de l'ancien et un agencement moderne. un emplacement au calme dans la vieille ville juste à coté des animations . un grand merci à julien qui nous a très bien reçu et a su nous donner de bons conseils sur les restaurants et les activités. Bref je le recommande pour apprécier à pied toutes les facettes de saint valery.

Location, location, location

This property was the perfect location for our trip. We used it as a base for daily excursions. And the town itself was very quaint. Conveniences, such as a grocery, patisserie, pharmacy, butcher and fish monger were within walking distance. We had a hard time getting used to the fact that most everything in the area and surrounding towns seemed to close between 12p-3p, but that was just us. The property was very clean and the kitchen was adequately stocked with basic cooking utensils. The house is a bit quirky as the main shower was on the first floor. The beds were super comfortable, but we would have liked a few more sleeping pillows. We met Julien, the owner, and his sister-in-law Clotilde who were awesome. Overall it was a good stop on our journey.

La mer et le calme

Maison ancienne restaurée avec gout, au calme dans la vieille ville de St Valéry, Géraldine et Julien nous ont reçu de façon très sympathique. Maison très bien équipée avec une très bonne literie.

Beautiful house, great location and wonderful host.

The host was fantastic, very helpful both before and during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We arrived very late and Julien kindly waited and then helped to sort the house for us and installed safety gates for our toddler. The location is excellent, at the base of the medieval area, short walk along the beautiful boardwalk to the Main Street and close to some restaurants and most importantly 2 boulangeries. It is also a short walk to a large playground. The house is beautiful, an old property with characterful features and modern amenities. The owners have thoughtfully restored the property. We have visited St Valery for a number of years and this was our favourite trip. Merci beaucoup for our stay! We will return for another visit.

Reasonable

Great location, great beds Lack of furnishing & some areas felt to be half finished. Despite this we enjoyed our stay.
