We are offering this charming fisherman’s cottage for rent in the village of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, just a stone’s throw from the harbour. It has a floor area of 100 m² and can accommodate up to eight guests. It comprises a lovely living room, a fully fitted kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms and two shower rooms. With Wi-Fi and a cleaning service provided, we’re just waiting for you!

The house is ideally situated in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, in a very pleasant setting. You’ll have easy access to all essential shops, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and the market…

The property is laid out as follows:

Ground floor:
- A lovely, light-filled living room with a seating area featuring a double sofa bed, armchairs, a coffee table and a TV, as well as a dining area with a table that seats six.
- A fully equipped kitchen: electric kettle, toaster, microwave, washing machine, oven, hob, dishwasher, Tassimo pod coffee machine, dining table…
- A bathroom with a shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and hairdryer.

On the first floor:
- Bedroom 1: a queen-size bed (160x200).
- A bathroom with a shower and a washbasin.
- Separate toilet.

On the second floor:
- Bedroom 2: one queen-size bed (160x200).
- Bedroom 3: two single beds.

Outside:
- A sunny, enclosed courtyard furnished with outdoor furniture, perfect for relaxing in the sun. The area includes a right of way for the neighbour.

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: tumble dryer, cot, high chair, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

- Tatihou Island: the boat departs from the port of Saint-Vasst-la-Hougue and runs regular services to the island.
- Tourist Office located 350 m away (5 minutes’ walk).
- Barfleur is 10 km away (15 minutes’ drive).
- The Cotentin Marshes Regional Park is 39 km away (35 minutes’ drive).
- Cherbourg-en-Cotentin is 30 km away (31 minutes’ drive).

Things to do:
Come and enjoy the splendour of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue on the Normandy coast, voted France’s favourite village in 2019. Visit Tatihou Island, take a stroll along the customs officers’ path (GR 223), and sample Saint-Vaast oysters. With its fishing port and marina, beaches and water sports, come and discover Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue!

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park for free near the house.

- Nearest airport: Cherbourg-Manche, 20 km away (23 minutes by car).
