The pool is fantastic and we hardly felt the need to leave the property as the children entertained themselves and it is perfect for relaxing, being so tranquil. The nearby river beach was fun too. "The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"Dear gods! I thought I'd have a tiny, but cute room. Place was bigger than my house! Full kitchen. Raindrop shower. And the ceilings...just exposed beams and gorgeous. Proper ceiling fan, not an occilator on a table (which works fine, but still). It was a very short walk from the Aubusson station and the tapestry museum. Oh, and the brunch they now offer (i was informed that it is new), they have everything from quiche to breads, croissants, coddled eggs, tarts that are out of this world. Also, we got a bit of a show. They bring in goats to manicure the lawns, such as they are. The goats paraded by our table and were adorable. I mean, i know goats csn get unrully, but these little suckers were focused on getting to their meal. I love them! Basically, just stay here."

"We stayed as a group of 16 and had a fabulous week at La Grange. The kids loved the pool, the woods, the cinema room when it was cloudy, and the swing was a big hit. The adults loved the bbq and outdoor seating for dinner and sundowners. The kitchen was really well equipped. There was so much space and the play room / games room had toys and games for all ages. Communication was fab and they helped us with some recommendations of places to go as well. A fab week. "
