Pool was good and terrace nice to sit on for dinner, decent sized rooms, kitchen was adequate but could have done with a built in oven as we were unable to BBQ due to regional ban on fires. Its location is quite remote (the property is in the village of Malataverne), very close to Lussan; and situated on the side of a hill - access is down a narrow bumpy lane (which will be a challenge for cars with low clearance). And there are quite a few steps to the property itself - i would say the property is not ideal for young children (under ~8 years) or people over ~65 years. The property can be described as "quirky"...

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The Maison was well equipped, clean and Rachel was very helpful and available to us. The only reason we didn’t give her all fives was it was listed for 4 adults. The house was too small for 4 but Rachel offered the other two companions other accommodations. We highly recommend the Maison for 2-3 adults max."

"The property owner is incredibly kind, generous and welcoming. The house is located in a calm and quiet part of Beaucaire, yet short walking distance from any necessary shopping. In the main living-room of the house, there's ample space with a well-adapted area for remote-working. "On arrival , we were greeted by the charming Salvatore and his wife . They gave us a tour of the house and showed us where everything was kept (helps to have some knowledge of French). We were also provided with a very thoughtful welcome pack containing wine and other gastronomic delights. We arrived to find a crate stuffed with wonderful French produce including wine and homemade pear jam. A €10 kettle, hot water that runs out, 4 sun loungers, the 5th was broken (please see below Re dishonesty of the owner), a property crammed into an end of garden plot. "We really enjoyed our stay here. The house has everything we needed and more! The outside space was amazing: we really enjoyed the bbq and pool. Good location allowing you to walk to the supermarket. We would definitely recommend this place."

"I loved the location, right across the street from the old city. There was a grocery store next door, very convenient. The property seems to be student residences as well as hotel and has laundry facilities, safe bicycle storage, recycling, an exercise room and breakfast for an extra fee, which we didn't do.
