In green surroundings, between lake and forest, beautiful cottage totally renovated with large garden and fully fenced yard. 3 star cottage is equipped with all modern facilities.

Fully equipped new American kitchen, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, hob, dishwasher, washing machine dryer, small appliances full of quality, crockery and utensils in quantity.

Lake Eguzon is the largest body of water in the Region.
It is located in a natural and unspoiled environment, and offers the possibility to practice many activities: canoeing, rowing, sailing, windsurfing or motor boats, fishing, hiking (nearly 300 km of marked trails).

The cottage is located less than 10 minutes walk from the beach of Fougères (by 1 pretty path crossing the forest) where you can enjoy the joys of swimming and water sports.

You can if you want to eat in the small restaurants along the lake.

Lovers of fishing you will find your happiness because this lake is full of fish such as pike, perch, catfish, many pontoons are arranged there.

A free ferry crosses every hour from one shore to another, for pedestrians and cyclists.

Also discover Gargilesse, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France where George Sand liked to reside on vacation.

The Creuse is only a few kilometers away, and you will find in the villages of Fresselines and Crozant landscapes painted by the Impressionists such as Guillaumin or Monet.
In Argenton, the Little Venice of Berry, you can enjoy summer and shopping events.

A program of events such as the festival of Chestnut (Toussaint) and water skiing events punctuate the seasons.

Très beau gîte très bien situé

Nous avons passé une belle semaine en famille. Nos petits enfants ont bien profité du lac avec baignade pêche activités nautiques. La région est belle même si désertique. Beaux parcours de randonnée au départ du gîte.Le lac est vraiment accessible du gîte à pied.

Lovely house, great location and great lake for paddle boarding/kayaking.

We stayed here for three weeks in July/August. It was a fabulous cottage with a great layout for our family of 5 (3 children) and was very well equipped. We were met on arrival by the owners (Roselyne and Jean-Louis) who showed us around and explained everything to us. They were both fantastic hosts, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Roselyne’s homemade fig and rhubarb jam and plum and cherry jam were delicious! Thank you. The area was perfect for us with the many little beaches with diving platforms for the children and the lake was ideal for using our stand up paddle boards. We were able to launch from the different beaches giving us different areas of the lake to paddle doing between 5 and 8 miles plus. each day. We were able to use the garage to securely store our boards and equipment which was a great added bonus. We would definitely recommend this cottage and area - a lovely cottage in a fabulous location.

Awkward sleeping quarters on mezzanine - beds slightly squeezed in with no headroom. Just about suitable for four youngsters to share. Otherwise, facilities were adequate and the garden was a lovely family space. Owners were friendly and always on hand to help.

Déja conquis par la présentation de l'annonce lors de notre réservation, à notre arrivée, le gîte est encore plus grand et mieux équipé qu'on ne l'attendait, une très belle surprise. La personne charmante qui nous accueille est à notre écoute et nous donne les renseignements essentiels pour un bon séjour. Le lac d'Eguzon est à proximité à pieds: les plages, les restaurants animés et de nombreuses randonnées accessibles à tous avec des découvertes inattendues qui valent le détour dans la région affectionnée par Georges SAND. La ballade en canoë sur le lac permet de découvrir l'ensemble avec un autre point de vue et de profiter de petites "criques" pour se rafraichir... en bref de très bonnes vacances en famille à refaire avec plaisir. Les enfants valident !!!

Schönes Ferienhaus am Lac d'Eguzon

Geräumiges Ferienhaus, gut ausgestattet, sehr ruhig gelegen. Der Lac d'Eguzon ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Viele schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. M Reviron und seine Frau sind fürsorgliche Gastgeber, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in ihrem Haus.

L'accueil des propriétaires est sympathique et attentif. Tout confort intérieur avec de l'espace. Accès facile au lac, départ de randonnées, visites patrimoine local. En revanche, la mezzanine est difficilement utilisable comme chambre (donne directement sur la pièce de vie, donc il faut être "couche tard" et "lève tôt" pour ne pas être déranger par les occupants des autres chambres). Nous avons passé un excellent week-end de Pâques dans ce gîte où tout est conçu pour le confort et la tranquillité des vacanciers ainsi que la propreté des lieux. Nous avons apprécié les soirées devant la cheminée, et le cadre de verdure de l'environnement. Nous étions 9 personnes sur 3 générations et tout le monde s'est senti à l'aise comme chez soi. c'est un gîte que je recommanderai sans restrictions

Avec 9 amis, nous avons passé quelques jours dans ce gite à l'occasion des fêtes de fin d'années et nous somme conquis ! Le gîte dispose de tout le nécessaire pour passer des moment très conviviaux, avec tout l'équipement pour se faire de bons repas, la grand tablée, la cheminée et les nombreux canapés. Nous avons passé 2 semaines de vacances dans cette superbe propriété. Située dans un cadre naturel bucolique et verdoyant, ce gîte offre des prestations et les équipements remarquables, rien ne manque, tout y a était prévu et pensé pour que nous puissions profiter au maximum de nos vacances. La proximité du lac nous a permis de pouvoir profiter de la plage, et de nous baigner chaque jour sans devoir prendre la voiture. Je recommande fortement cette location à tous les amoureux de la nature et des sports nautiques.

Un gîte de qualité

Un endroit très accueillant et confortable... Un havre de paix où l'on se sent apaisés et sereins...avec le lac d'Eguzon et ses activités à proximité (5-10 min à pieds). Je recommande évidemment ce gîte à tout le monde... et nous espérons avoir l'occasion d'y retourner pour un séjour plus long la prochaine fois...
