My stay at La Saudade was a very pleasant experience. The hosts are kind and interesting people, you are steps from the very charming town of St. Peray (which has infinitely more going for it than the other ‘wine towns’ in the area). Enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Ruche, and was told that the nearby Auberge is also a fun family destination. La Saudade is the embodiment of a lovely chambre d’hotes - clean, unpretentious, interesting old home, and is also personal and memorable! Recommend!

Exceptional hotel

We were very impressed with this hotel which we stayed at for one night on our way to Belgium from the Cote D'Azure. The house was lovely and we were met very graciously by the owner, who was very pleasant and welcoming. She informed us we could get an upgrade and we ended up having a lovely spacious suite. The rooms were clean and immaculate and the bed was very comfortable with crisp linen sheets and pillow cases. We had a very nice continental breakfast with a good choice of breads and preserves. We would certainly recommend it for more than one night. It is near several restaurants in Saint Peray. We ended having a nice meal at the restaurant which was recommended by the owner which was under ten minute walk away from the hotel.

Maison magnifique avec une très bonne situation à proximité du centre-bourg. Des hôtes tres chaleureux et aux petits soins. Petit dejeuner excellent et copieux avec des produits locaux ou maison. Nous y reviendrons avec un grand plaisir. Merci .

So was schönes findet man kaum noch. Ein tolles Zimmer und ein super leckeres Frühstück. Dazu ein sehr nettes Gespräch in deutsch. Werden Weihnachten an Claire denken, wenn wir die Flasche Wein von ihr trinken. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Fantastische gastvrouw

Wij werden fantastisch onthaald. Door blokkades op de snelwegen, kwamen wij laat aan! De poort ging open en we werden hartelijk welkom geheten. De mooiste kamer was die avond voor ons, omdat we zoveel reisvertraging hadden. Naast advies voor een goed restaurant hadden we een goed ontbijt. Mede dankzij de uitgebreide dialoog werd de betaling simpelweg vergeten. Dat hebben we later samen opgelost. Echt een heerlijk Frans adres!

Een plek om te overnachten, met een fantastische gastvrouw. Typisch frans huis met een verassende kamer die leek op een appartement. Alleen de jacuzzi als douche vonden wij wat minder en kon wel wat onderhoud gebruiken. Verder een aanradertje zo in de Ardèche.
