"I was looking last minute for a hotel in/near Lyon. Due to circumstances (cancelled flights, I heared) most hotels were fully booked or tripled their prices. This hotel didn't and was just 15 minutes away from my location. It is like walking into a time machine, back to the seventies. But although dated, it was clean, in good shape and very nice staff. Next time I'm stranded in Lyon it will be my first choice. "

"This would be a great place to stopover on a roadtrip through the Lyon region. Pity I didn't have a car so had to rely on train which is 20 minutes away. However, it wasn't too hard to check out Lyon from here and was far cheaper than anything in town. The staff were brilliant, particularly the lady who checked me in who was very helpful and was able to communicate well in English which was appreciated. "

"The room itself was tiny, nicely furnished and extreme warm. No aircon / fan/ heater there. Bathroom was clean. If u don't need a kitchen or fridge it's not recommendable for the price. It was offered online with a whirpool wich wasn't available. No compensation for that.The water option was the main reason why we booked the place. "Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!"
