Everything about the studio was good. Aubusson was interesting with lots to see, but our impression was marred by there being stinky dog poo everywhere. The mayor needs to organise pavement cleaning. "Ancienne maison avec le charme des meubles, très propre et tout y est, si on oublie quelque chose. Seul petit bémol, un WC en bas, et pas de penderie dans les chambres. Hôte très disponible par sms et téléphone. Environnement très calme. "

There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"Excellent appartement (4 chambres, 2 sdb) et hyper bien situé à 2 minutes du centre, et avec une vue plongeante sur Aubusson. L'équipement est très complet et super bien.Merci à l'hôte qui prépare avec soin cette maison atypique plus que centenaire. Bravo pour cette rénovation du patrimoine d'Aubusson. En outre, Aubusson est une ville très pratique pour visiter le plateau des Millevaches, ses randonnées et ses lacs (ne pas rater le lac de Vassivière). "

"I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."

"Our stay was splendid. The house was very nice decorated and the big swimming pool was perfect. The kitchen was well equipped so you nicely cook your diner and eat it on the the terras with a great view. Groceries are very nearby. You can walk to the shops. The butcher in particular is very good. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much."

"There is very nice parking lot for your car. The staff is excellent and check in was very nice with an actual person. No self check-in required. Just be aware there are no faciiites close by as you are out in the country. The hotel does have a nice restaurant service with limited outs and a bar with wine and beer and some other alcohol. The stay was very pleasant and I recommend it though only if you have your own transportation. There are faciiities close by but you would need a car to get there. "

"Beautiful setting, pleasant and clean accommodations. Food at breakfast and table d'hote dinner was delicious and fresh, much of it harvested on site. Nearby Aubusson is charming, with small shops and bistros. The proprietors are delightful, warm, and hospitable. They both speak some English and were patient with our limited French. And they went out of their way to be kind and helpful, especially to my wife, who was recovering from an illness while we were there. Highly recommended!"
