"Andre and Nicholas are amazing hosts, the room(s) - we stayed on two occasions, on our way to our friends and on the way back- are exquisitely furnished, excellent facilities, superb breakfasts and just a truly amazing place to be. Slightly off the beaten track which is a benefit in itself, so quiet and amazing stars at night. Andre booked us a table at a local restaurant and that was excellent as well. It’s such a beautiful property and gardens (we lounged around drinking wine in the evening), with all the quiet we needed to get away, yet close enough to pretty towns and villages for exploring. Astrid is a great cook, I recommend you book her to prepare your dinner (using locally sourced and foraged ingredients) at least one evening. Thank you!"
