"Very well equipped and very clean apartment. Set on hillside within walking distance (10 minutes) from town. Steep on way back but you could use car, we are in our 70’s and not a problem. Great outdoor space, with barbecue, table and chairs, loungers and, of course the view. Jean- Pierre speaks very good English and lives above the apartment. He is very helpful but not intrusive. "We were warmly welcomed by our host Norbert. The house was very well equipped, spacious, well heated and very clean. The setting of the house is amongst forest, providing privacy, yet only minutes on foot to the village. There are numerous birds and squirrels that can be seen from the house. The town offers thermal baths and a small casino for light entertainment. There are many scenic drives in the area, and historic towns. We would definately consider revisiting this house."

"Tres bon etablisssement dommage que le parking soit pris par la fete forraine accueil et personnel au top et tres serviable seul inconveniant un couple de persones agees dans la chambre a cote et du coup on profitait de leur programme tele plus que du notre mais bon ce sont les joies des vacances si nous revenons sur gerardmer je pense que ce sera notre premier choix "
